Now this is cool. 100 authors are going to submit their work to the "Future Library," where they will sit unpublished and unread for 100 years! They'll be kept in a specially-designed room of the new Deichman Library in Oslo. 1,000 trees were planted nearby; they'll later be cut down to provide the paper on which the texts will be printed as an anthology of books in 2114. Margaret Atwood (my hero) is the first author to sign on. http://bbc.in/1As1UiB
Margaret Atwood becomes the first of 100 authors to enter a manuscript into the Future Library, a project collecting works not to be published until 2114.
