As a German I will probably not be able to use Hangout on Air anytime soon. There's an old broadcasting law in Germany that doesn't permit live broadcasts with more than 500 recipients without a special permission/license (which costs money of course). The law was meant to prevent pirate TV and radio stations back in the day but now is one of the laws that is holding our nation back when it comes to the internet.
Googles Videochat Hangout geht live auf Sendung. Für alle sichtbar, außer für deutsche Nutzer. Das Feature scheitert möglicherweise am Rundfunkstaatsvertrag.
