I love coming back here and listening to this from time to time.  It's so painfully funny.  How was Verizon not raked over the coals for this stupidity?

+Michael Unfried I'm always trying to decide if this is an intentional run-around, hoping he would eventually hang up and pay the bill, or all of these people are really this moronic.

Everyone keeps talking about "racing" on public roads, but he wasn't going that fast.  I can name a few roads near where I live where you could be traveling below the legal speed limit and have idiots pull out in front of you doing 10 mph, causing the exact same scenario.

Raging about a cliff hanger? You even point out how often it's done in movies. It's designed to make you excited for the next one.

I didn't play the game until after the DLC was put out, so maybe I missed something about the relays being "destroyed" because I didn't see that (of course, this video says it's from two months ago, so I don't think you can use that as an excuse). As for the lack of choice with Sheppard dying, I think you missed the point. Destiny. Maybe you should look it up. It's a common threme in storytelling. Sometimes, no matter what you do, you can't escape your destiny.

Personally, I liked the ending. All of them. They weren't that different in what you saw, but they had vastly different moral connotations, which was a big part of the "choice" system in ME. I and each ending had massive potential to change the universe for the next game. I'm looking forward to ME4. 5. 6. Etc.

Frankly, trying to watch your video, so that I could maybe see what everyone was so upset about, all I could think was how much you sound like a petulant child, unhappy because he thinks he "deserves" something he didn't get.

All the comments on here about the 1001 things "suggestive" in these scene are ridiculous.  You have to really be trying to find "sex" or "hell" in the water and action lines.  Even looking for it frame-by-frame, I'm like "yeah, that might be what they're talking about."

At least the dick and balls thing is fairly apparent, but only if you use your imagination.  It's one of those "just happens to be reminiscent of", not something like they make it actually look that way.  If this is going to be your "litmus test", I guarantee you can find a few things you see each week just going about your daily lives that look "reminiscent" of a dick and balls.

While I think Samsung is handling this badly, 3 phones out of 40,000,000+ phones is a tiny number, especially since two of them were traced to using 3rd party chargers.  Especially in places like China (where the guy's house burnt down), it's really dangerous to use "off-the-shelf" chargers because their built extremely cheap and don't always meet the specifications to charge the phone properly.

Also, the spraying molten material "all over the room" is a bit of an exaggeration. While true that Lithium Polymer batteries will catch fire if they get hot and ooze a "jelly-fied" magnesium, it's very rare that it goes further than a few inches.  Still bad, but hardly "all over the room".

As for the "similar model", that's just legalese speak.  Even if your phone is an "S4", there are multiple models of S4 and even different hardware revisions within each model.  They're just playing CYA in case you get a different hardware revision and try to claim they gave you a different phone.  You can check the "hardware version" of your phone by going to Settings -> About Phone.  It's very common for companies to make little tweaks to the hardware for new production batches after a phone has been released.

I think the whole "we're not going to replace your phone until you shut up" is entirely the wrong approach here, but we should also keep perspective about how large of an issue this really is.  *Anything* that runs off a rechargeable battery is subject to the potential of having this happen.  That includes cordless phones, radio control cars or, of course, smart phones.  Even the iPhone has had a few reports of this sort of thing happening.

+Paul McKenna I never argued that Samsung is using strong arm tactics. I said myself that Samsung is not handling this well. I only asserted that implying that this is happening a lot and Samsung is keeping it quiet is pure speculation.

Great article.  I was excited when I first saw "Dungeon Keeper" in the Google Play Store, but quickly realized what EA had done to it.

I was listening to a Tech Stuff podcast a short while back about Sid Meyer.  The mentioned something he had said in an interview that I thought was very interesting:  he said that he would never make a "freemium" game because, in order to make a successful freemium game, you had to first make a game that was inherently "un-fun" and then offer in-app purchases to make it fun.  Sid Meyer had said in that interview that he hated that model and that he started making games because he wanted to make fun games.  I found a whole new level of respect for him just off that portion alone.

Your videos are both hilarious and disturbing, but I guess that's kind of the point.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

I think I've figured it out.. Obama and Romney are running two different business plans.

Romney and Ryan are running the startup campaign.  Full of buzzwords, "strategic" meetings.  The insistance that there is a plan without clarifying it and a reliance on charisma to push their argument forward.

Obama and Biden are the mom and pop shop.  They see problems and present actual solutions, but they're stopgap.  they say "we'll fix it now, but we're totally f*ked in a few years again" You know..  like the coffee shop who started mimicking starbucks to compete and then freak out a few years later when no one can tell them apart.

The problem is that BOTH of these are the wrong business model.  What we need is a Headhunter. A Political Chop shop.  Parse it down to the essentials and restart.

You always wonder, when you see such glowing reviews, whether or not they are "real". After getting my unit and moving in last week, I can assure you that they are. Not only is the site very clean, well-lit, and secure, but Jodie is a pleasure to do business with (I haven't met Mary, yet). It took about 30 minutes to do the tour and fill out the rental paperwork, but Jodie made it feel like 5. Very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend (and already have) ExtraSpace Storage to friends and family.
