The search lab. Our algorithms are constantly changing. These changes begin as ideas in the minds of our engineers. They take these ideas and run experiments, analyze the results, tweak them, and run them again and again.

Sultan Gyro
307 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071
When I first moved to the area I just happened to stumble upon Sultan Gyro.

I'm glad that I did because it's one of the best-kept secrets in Lyndhurst.

The authentic Turkish food they serve is delicious and much healthier than the other options in town. The falafel and kebab plates with salad and rice are two of my favorites, but the gyros must be just as good because people are ordering them every time I eat here.

The owner and chef is one of the friendliest people you'll meet and you'll always see him having a conversation with his customers as he prepares their meal.

I absolutely recommend Sultan Gyro.

This seems very awesome. Need to try it out.

This is pretty cool: Google is working on deeper integration between G+ Hangouts and YouTube Live, meaning you can watch a livestream and chat about it with friends in a Hangout.

They've quietly enabled this feature in Hangouts already, apparently:

1. Start a Hangouts session in Google+ and invite your contacts to join you.

2. In a separate browser tab, head over to YouTube.com/Live and select a live stream of your choice.

3. Copy the YouTube video I.D. of the selected live stream. Not sure how to find it? Just click on the share link below the video. You’ll get to see a link like http://youtu.be/XXXXXXXX – the cryptic code after the slash is the video I.D.

4. Switch back to hangouts, open the video tab and search for the I.D. Click play, and you’re all set.

Anyone wanna try it and let us know if it works?

A really excellent article by +Tom Anderson, founder of Myspace, on the different paths Google+ could take at this early point in its existence:

The double-posting is probably annoying for those of you who are also my Facebook friends, but my excitement for the new Thrice single and album cannot be contained by one social network.

The service was great, the wait staff very friendly. I had the Pollo Organico, which was just unbelievable. I definitely recommend Gabriela's.

My girlfriend and I were in Hilo a few days ago and we saw this restaurant was highly rated on Trip Advisor. We decided to give it a try. Our food came out. A few bites in, it was fine. Not worth the mile walk we took to get there, but fine. But any pleasure we were getting out of the meal disappeared when my girlfriend went to put syrup on her pancakes. The bottle was crawling was tiny ants, as was the dish it was placed in. We saw the same was true of the other pancake topping on the table. We brought this issue to the attention of our waiter. He offered to get us new food, but whatever hunger we had was gone. I asked for the check. I went up and described what happened to two other employees, including the person I assume is the manager. While they took the pancakes off our bill, they still charged me for an omelette of which I had eaten about three bites. They did the absolute minimum in not charging us for the meal that was directly affected. The right thing to do was not only obvious, but easy, too. We shouldn't have been charged for anything. I suggest you choose somewhere else to eat if you're in town.

This is, without a doubt, the best Portuguese food you'll find in the area. I used to eat here on a weekly basis when I lived in Kearny. Try the garlic barbecued chicken. Unbelievable. Oh, and just to respond to Mariano Barrera, the other reviewer below, the food is not at all expensive, and you get a huge portion of it.

I can't even tell you how much we enjoy Cinnamon. We found it maybe a year and a half ago on a quest to find the best Indian food we possibly could. I think we were successful in that endeavor. We've gone back literally dozens of times, mostly on Sundays for the buffet, where you can sample the whole palette of flavors Cinnamon offers. If that weren't enough, the people here are outstanding. Cinnamon has become my favorite restaurant. It goes without saying that I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Cafe Christopher is different than what you're used to. They make real food that's really good. I'm a fan of pretty much any sandwich they serve on one of their fresh, multigrain rolls. But they also have paninis, salads and soup, too, I think. I recommend giving them a try, especially if you're tired of the other so-called "restaurants" near Eatontown.

The food is delicious. Just as good are the ambiance and experience. The owner is so welcoming. She came by our table several times to tell us about the dishes and the restaurant and just to chat a bit. If you're looking for somewhere to eat on the Lower East Side, I would definitely recommend A Casa Fox.
