Okay, does anyone know who was the last person #LeonardNimoy touched, and can we start on the plans to steal the Enterprise and head to the Genesis planet?

Some friends and I (known as the Burb Dads, aka +Christopher Allsop +Puleen Patel +Matthew Fabb +Neil Menezes and myself) finally posted the first episode (technically episode 0) of our new podcast "The Burb Dads".

We are 5 dads living in the suburbs, raising kids and generally being geeky.

If you'd like to see what it's about, and a taste of what's to come, check it out on Soundcloud. https://soundcloud.com/burb-dads/burb-dads-s1e0-02242015

Since it was our first try at this, the audio has a bit of an echo at times, so bare with us. We've got some better mics for the first real episode to come.

I was watching through the latest SPECTRE behind-the-scenes and noticed the shot of the building they were filming at in Solden, Austria. You can see on the wall the name "HOFFL? KLINIK".

A quick google search for "Solden Austria Hoffler Klinik" finds only references to the Bond film itself, nothing for a real life "Hoffler Klinik" and a Google maps search for the same name finds only a hospital near Munich in Germany.

Now, I haven't read any leaks about the film (like fro the Sony hacks) and don't want to, so if people already know about this from another source, I guess I'm late to the game.

Given OHMSS was about an "allergy" clinic in the mountains as a cover for Blofeld, and since this movie is about Spectre, and since the movie poster has an image of a bullet hole in a window (like the front of Bond's car in OHMSS when Tracy is killed), is this just more possible evidence that this is a remake of OHMSS?

That beautiful piece of contemporary architecture your looking at IS in Sölden, Austria. The name on the building - Hoffl Klinik...is the fictional name in the story line for Bond 24.
The place is called ...Ice Q ... Its a restaurant.
Took care of the research for you.
Check the links below... have fun.

Hey, +Reid Undant, here's my wife's famous chili on the stove for #SuperBowl. I usually root for the Patriots (you know, east coast) but this year, for you, I'll cheer on the water birdies. :-)

So, my wife broke her Nexus 4. I bought Nexus phones to get out of our Rogers contract (which is now over and done with) so I have no desire to get a new phone on contract.

I know I can still get a Nexus 5 for $350, but she doesn't take care of her devices. Is there a decent low-end Android phone running at least Kit Kat that is less than $300 off contract?

A little birdie tells me that the Coleman 40 watt solar panel may be on sale at CDN Tire in the near future at $100 (reg $250). Is it worth it? Is it something that would be good to have as part of my kit for bug out or bug in?

Introduce yourself, your Podcast  -

Some friends and I (known as the Burb Dads) finally posted the first episode (technically episode 0) of our new podcast "The Burb Dads".

We are 5 dads living in the suburbs, raising kids and generally being geeky. In this "episode 0" we introduce ourselves and start out with some of our biggest interests, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars and James Bond, while relating these topics to our parenting.

We still have a lot to learn, I'm sure. We did this via Google Hangouts. Not everyone had a great microphone yet, and I think there was a bit of echo caused by my speakers, so yes, we will fix those things for the official episode 1. We welcome any constructive criticism you have, even if you don't listen to any or all of it. The episode is about 56 mins long. (I think in future we will try to keep it to 45 mins).

Am I old, or just (thankfully) completely out of touch with so-called "pop" culture? I can see that this +Mashable headline is written in English, but I have NO idea what it means.

Just picked up Saboteur at Mastermind. Lost out on this game recently in an auction, so I'm happy to have stumbled upon it. Pays 3-10 players, which is great for my group of 8 players.

I don't see this posted here yet... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WwUIY8pl-E&x-yt-ts=1422327029&x-yt-cl=84838260

If you like Doctor Who, love, and things that are awesome and funny, this might be for you.

TL;DR - Doctor Who as romantic comedy.
