Yes, safeguards will need to be put into place, and yes, there would need to be a consent-driven participation to have their data collected and analyzed, but without a doubt, the massive computing power and analysis going on in the world of commerce will soon be coming to the medical field.
As a physician, I'm excited about the prospects of understanding disease and managing my patients in a way that leverages big data into making better decisions for the individual.

Every time I try to watch a Hangout on Air from my Samsung Galaxy S4 from within the Google+ app, I get taken to Youtube where the hangout is not on - it just shows "What to Watch".
Not sure how to make this work. Any help would be appreciated.
