For over a decade, Dr. Salzhauer has been recognized for his artistic approach to the practice of plastic surgery. As a result, patients from around the world travel to his Florida-based medical facility to obtain impeccable results.
Many patients first became acquainted with Dr. Salzhauer from his frequent appearances on national and international television. CBS, NBC, FOX News, Univision, and Telemundo have all done feature stories on his practice. “Entertainment Tonight” and “Inside Edition” have both found Dr. Salzhauer to be a preferred media expert and friendly to their viewing audiences. For years he was best known in South Florida as the host of “NIP/ Talk radio” on WINZ, a weekly program discussing plastic surgery. He is the author of “My Beautiful Mommy,” which garnered international media attention for its unique approach to the plastic surgery conversation. Most recently, he is the developer of the #1 Plastic Surgery Application for the iPhone—iSurgeon. This software allows users to quickly see what they would look like with plastic surgery—right on their phone.
Dr. Salzhauer owns and operates the Bal Harbour Plastic Surgery Associates facility in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. There is no facility of its equal in the nation. The state-of-the-art design provides superior patient care and five-star resort amenities.
Specialty areas of plastic surgery include: rhinoplasty, breast augmentations, breast lifts, liposuction, tummy tucks, facelifts, Botox®, and dermal fillers. Dr. Salzhauer averages over 600 operative procedures annually in this fully licensed, accredited private surgical facility.
Dr. Salzhauer earned his MD degree from The Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center and the University of Miami Medical Center, as well as an aesthetic fellowship at the Cleveland clinic.
