Well, I can tell you this, the water bill definitely goes up....there are some added trips to the bathroom. I'm not sure that its a fits all type of thing. Arnstein was a vegetarian for a while before shifting to all raw fruits, so I look at it as a minor change for him, and might be something you build into over time. The premise is that your body has far less muscle that a massive amount of protein is not required. If you are running 50+ miles a week, you'll need every bit of carbs you can get your hands on. I tried it for a few months and I can tell you my resting heart rate got as low as 43 and I have never seen it that low, ever. I might try it again after I read his book and figure out a way to financially sustain it.
