Flowing Water Friday - The Chilliwack River

For #flowingwaterfriday by +Kate Church and +Rolf Hicker.

I've always liked this exposure I made at the Chilliwack River (in Chilliwack, British Columbia). Not only because it was -20°C at the time but because it reminds me of snow-capped mountains rising above the clouds. This was one of the times that I had to be in a place for an hour or so before I started to really see what was there. Time is not always as available but when it is I think I find better compositions than what first seem apparent upon arriving at a location.

You're right, when I first glanced at this image, in my stream, I did think it was two mountains... not until I read the title of course. Wild.
Awesome shot! Love it!
This has a subtle charm. Very nice!
