I had the pleasure of being asked to drop by the Tribune Tower studios of Chicago’s legendary WGN Radio to do an interview with host Steve Bertrand. In a conversation that was excerpted on the Wintrust Business Lunch and runs in full on the Bertrand on…

Say, who's that guy in the middle of the American Libraries Magazine coverage of the Soon to be Famous Illinois Author Project's much-deserved PR win? Truly a face made for text.
The April announcement of the Soon to Be Famous Author Project winner took place at the Illinois Library Association in Chicago. Front, from left: Denise Raleigh, Michael Alan Peck, and Cris Cigler. Back, from left: Donna Fletcher, Julie Stam, Lucy Tarabour, Nikki Zimmermann, and Jennifer Amling ...

Until the Post Office sees fit to issue Commons stamps, I suppose I’ll have to make my own. So I did. (And they’re legal, too!) Such is the beauty of Dan Fernandez‘s cover design. I can turn it into just about anything.

Author +Bryce Anderson, whose own IMPROBABLE RISE OF SINGULARITY GIRL is a singularly great read, reviews CENTURY OF SAND. It's part of the Immerse or Die +StoryBundle, along with a book by some Peck guy.

My review of +Chris Hayes-Kossmann (Christopher Ruz)'s 'Century of Sand,' a masterful, classic fantasy novel that blew the self-pub curve all to hell.

http://www.bigshinyrobot.com/58786/century-sand-review/

Chris and I both have novels the #ImmerseOrDie  storybundle (only two days left, folks and folkettes!  Pick it up at http://storybundle.com/indie).  There is one must-read novel in the bundle, and it sure as shootin' isn't mine.
Century of Sand, by Christopher Ruz. Reviewed by Bryce Anderson. [Disclaimer: This book is another book in the #ImmerseOrDie StoryBundle. I also have a book in the bundle. I don't believe it changes my opinion of the book, just the timing for publishing the review.] Rating: 10/10 ...

Author Michael Alan Peck just won the Illinois Author Project award (http://buff.ly/1aEqqQV) for THE JOURNEYMAN. Coincidentally enough, you can grab that book in the Immerse or Die Bundle. Lucky timing! http://buff.ly/1aEqqQW

Yesterday's Soon to be Famous Illinois Author Project panel at the Reaching Forward Library event in Rosemont. (That's me and last year's winner, +Joanne Zienty, in the slide.) It was a pleasure to spend some time with the wonderful folks from Helen M. Plum Memorial Library, Clarendon Hills Public Library, and +Gail BordenPL, talking the contest up and kicking off our scheming for the coming year's doings. #illinois    #libraries

Ever wonder why you just can't make it through that one book? Creativity Hacker (and Immerse or Die creator) +Jefferson Smith explains—with data. Science! #books

Next week I'll be posting a new analysis of the most common immersion busters I've run across during the first 200 #ImmerseOrDie books. But in the meantime, I thought it would be interesting to have a look back at the one I did after 50 books. Whether it's new to you, or serves as a refresher to compare when the new report drops, I hope you'll find it useful.
Today marks the publication of the 50th review in my ImmerseOrDie indie book review series. For those who don't regularly follow it, the premise is simple: every morning I step onto my treadmill, open a new indie ebook, and begin my daily walk, reading the book for as long as I can maintain my
