This article is about the need for better soft skills in tomorrows UX designers. But also about the give and take between business and design  with the customer experience sitting in between.

Checking out Lucidchart for mockups, and wireframes. This might be better than Basalmiq. Shareable, works with Google docs, re-usable master pages. Unfortunately it is a pay by month model. Very cool though. #notashill

Don't just try to talk like your audience see if you can help them, make them laugh and have fun.

Wow! Could the answer to cancer be HIV!!??

Doctors injected a young girl who had cancer with the HIV virus in order to try to fight her leukemia. The HIV virus was reprogrammed in order to fight her cancer cells. Emma was given the treatment and in a short time became deathly ill as her body reacted to the newly introduced disease… and then a remarkable thing happened.

Introduction
I had another life in NYC where I designed sets and costumes for avante garde theatre: puppets, muli-media, dance. That was fun. Now I do UX design. A culmination of years of theatre and design experience - starting in highschool - and good ol' fashioned common sense.

I had problem with another shop that I took in an admittedly older car to replace the pads. Three calls later, they had replaced three calipers, all the pads and the octopus brake line connector. Now the car had almost all new brake system and a new problem spongy brakes. So even though I had a new system the brakes felt worse. The other garage just threw up their hands and gave up. They told me to take my car out of there because it was too much of a hassle. Something was suspicious. I took it to Ashworths and they informed me of the possibilities and possible outcomes before beginning. They do like to talk but I enjoy hanging out in oil soaked garages and the sharing of knowledge. They have a full set of brake gauges (not sure of the technical term) that they put on and found the issue and had it fixed within a day. I recommend them for brake issues. They were on the high side and it did hurt a little paying for a new brake system and then having to take it somewhere else to fix a new problem. But these guys are old hands that have seen many problems and have a lot of experience. So it is worth the extra hourly rate in my opinion.

Harrison automotive really knows what they are doing with Volvo's. The owner gave me a really great price on a rack replacement, not just for the area but for all over and quality expert work. You may have to look past the round about location, a very quick pull off the highway, or the shabby grounds, ( he's got old Volvo's stacked up and waiting for a new life, but well worth it if you have an old Volvo. Very honest. Very trustworthy. I be taking back the old 240 there for all my major work.
