#Reuters is shamelessly trying to pretend that Clinton was the one that made this happen. Sorry, but she wasn't the first, second, third or fiftieth person of note to call out the manufacturer on this.

For those that don't know, the EpiPen carries about $1 worth of the drug. The high cost is said to be in the injection mechanism. There is one generic version but doctors don't recommend it because the injector on the generic version operates a little diffidently and they don't want to interfere with the training by nurses in schools and care facilities. However, since there is only one generic version, how about we just train them on the use of both types of injectors at the same time? Problem solved with no added training cost but it would still allow kids to get a much cheaper alternative.
Mylan NV (MYL.O) said on Thursday it would reduce the out-of-pocket cost of its severe allergy treatment EpiPen through a discount program, a day after Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton joined lawmakers in criticizing the drug's high price.

The Democrats have dedicated a lot of time, passion, and faux outrage in a concerted attempt to browbeat the American people into viewing voter ID laws as racist. After all the high-sounding, empty rhetoric and fingerpointing from Democratic leaders, a new study by Gallup shows that their anti-anti-voter fraud agenda has failed miserably.

ObamaCare and Network Neutrality are really dumb policy. For many, many reasons. Like with all huge new government power grabs, there are a few very predictable post-grab outcomes. Let’s look at a few through the prisms of relatively new grab Net Neutrality - and ObamaCare, a more vintage grab thus doing even more predicted damage. And as we know, and will see - past is | Read More »

A chance meeting at the Republican National Convention solved a 15-year-old mystery that began on the morning of September 11, 2001. Air Force Col. Rob Maness was at the Pentagon when one of the four planes hijacked by jihadists rammed into the building that fateful day. He wasn't hurt, so he sprang to action, helping the injured. A badly burned man was being pushed by on a gurney and Maness was asked to hold the victim's leaky IV and keep h...

#climatechange  is not settled science...says actual climate scientists
After the floods had hit Baton Rouge, Louisiana, last week, former vice president and self-proclaimed global warming guru Al Gore coined the natural disaster as “one of the manifestations of climate change.”

The staff at South of the Border in Bowie have always been attentive and friendly (worthy of a good tip). The food is consistently good. Most times we visit, the manager comes by to check in on how we are doing. That's why this is one of our favorite spots for dinner.

The food was overpriced for such poor quality. I had fried oysters that looked like they were cooked in week old oil and they were mushy. My wife had an Angus hamburger steak that was more like shoe leather. They asked her how she wanted it cooked. She said medium rare. It came out nearly burnt. When we asked them to redo it, they gave nothing but excuses why they couldn't do it. Also my wife asked for the peppers, onion and mushrooms add-on. No mushrooms. When we said something to the waitress, it went in one ear and out the other. Dinner for 4 was over $100. Dinner the previous night at a Cracker Barrel was half that and was much better.
