With the exception of humans, which inhabit every continent, most primates live in tropical or subtropical regions of the Americas, Africa and Asia. They range in size from Madame Berthe's mouse lemur, which weighs only 30 g (1 oz), to the eastern lowland gorilla, weighing over 200 kg (440 lb). Based on fossil evidence, the earliest known true primates, represented by the genus Teilhardina, date to 55.8 million years old. An early close primate relative known from abundant remains is the Late Paleocene Plesiadapis, circa 55–58 million years old. Molecular clock studies suggest that the primate branch may be even older, originating in the mid-Cretaceous period around 85 mya

As I've already posted elsewhere, the ‪#‎ICNY‬ ‪#‎RTB‬ party was a SMASHING success. Way beyond what I thought or even hoped it would be. I just wanted to write this brief post to:

[1] Thank +Leslie Ebersole  for being the driver of the idea from the start, and for doing all the heavy lifting behind the scenes to make it all go off as perfectly as it did. She is a magician who wears so many hats so gracefully I simply don't have the words to convey it properly. Everyone should be as blessed as I am to have her in my inner circle and in my life in general. She is worthy of all the accolades she has received of late, and so much more. Kudos to you, my friend. You are AMAZING!

[2] Thank +Nicole Beauchamp  and +Coral Gundlach  for helping Leslie out with everything. Nikki, you've been a friend for a long time, and I always enjoy our interactions, exactly like the one we had in the lobby yesterday morning. Coral, it was great to finally meet you and realize we think a lot more alike than maybe we ever realized. It was great to connect F2F, and I hope you become a fixture on this circuit going forward.

[3] Thank all the people from this group who attended. I'd attempt to list everyone, but, again, my memory is awful and I'd just screw that up. But suffice to say it was a lot of you, and I REALLY appreciate that! The photo below perfectly conveys what the whole experience felt like for me: FUN, with so many truly great, smart, wonderful people. In that particular photo are +Gwen Daubenmeyer, +Ernie Graham , Rosemary Phinney Buerger, +Amy Curtis and Robyn Woodman.

[4] Acknowledge one person in particular who made a Herculean effort to attend: John MacArthur. John drove fours hours just for this one event, and then drove four hours home that same night. He drove EIGHT HOURS in one day so that he could meet many of us, which he most certainly did. And what a classy gentleman! Once more, I found the online persona to be exactly like the real life individual. It was SUCH a pleasure to meet you, John. Thank you for making the extraordinary effort that you did to be there. That's John in the other photo below with Leslie.

In conclusion, I've been wanting to do one of these events for a long time - really, ever since the group was formed. But I lack the talent to put it together. Now that we have Leslie, et al, that problem is solved. So, maybe we can make this a new tradition and have a get together at every +Brad Inman Connect going forward. San Francisco is AMAZING in July! I hope to see even more of you then and there!
