I have 3 games installed (Riptide 2, Leo's Fortune and Beach Buggy). I also tried KOTOR - a 2GB download - but it's far too complex for my tiny brain to deal with.

Hoping (against hope) that Lego Star Wars gets an Android TV release eventually.

Keep these ideas and challenges coming!

I still say that we should take baby steps and try colonizing the Moon first, just because it is closer and therefore less delay in getting there (and back if we choose/need). I know there are not the necessary naturally occurring resources on the Moon, but the proximity has to provide some key advantages in the early testing phases.

Human spaceflight is, to be blunt, an unnecessarily complicated affair. Us humans require a whole host of things to make sure we can survive the trip through the harsh conditions of space, much more than our robotic companions require. Of course whilst…

Just a low act.... Nothing more to say :(

Last night, someone stole my skates and bag with my protective gear in it from my car in Garran. Please share/repost!

If you see these things for sale somewhere, please let me know:
Red Riedell Diablo skates (I think they were size 6 but cannot be sure). They have orange bushings instead of standard black. Similar to pic below.
Skates are rolling on Rollerbones Turbo black wheels, 92 duro
They were in a navy and red retro skate bag from the 1980s
Protec Street knee pads size M with Rock star Glider covers, hardly used
Protec Street elbow pads size M with tiger print felt, hardly used

There was a bunch of other stuff in the bag that might be offered with them - wrist guards, knee gaskets, skate tool, half a dozen whistles (one had a TEDxAdelaide lanyard). Might help in identifying that this is my gear if it's sold off together.

If you see this gear around, please contact Fair Lee Fast (now Fair Lee Stationary til I can afford replacement gear) on 0411449524.

Thanks for re-posting! I'm going to check out the local pawn shops tomorrow. Maybe I'll get lucky and find them there.

Don't look at me funny for checking these out - but I am skeptical that the Atom processor would be able to handle a full on desktop computing experience as they are claiming.....

Maybe I will have to watch a few YouTube reviews to see whether the specs live up to the claims....

Simple under pinning message here. If we can pay for it and watch it we will, if you restrict us and we can't then we will pirate it and you will only get back what it was worth in the first place less your court costs........so just release it already!

So tempted to go with the manual method......

Must.Wait.For.OTA.....
The update to Android Wear 5.1.1 is starting to arrive on Android Wear devices that aren’t the LG Watch Urbane (which launched at that version), but not everyone will get it straight away. Google’s staged over-the-air (OTA) update system ensures that it might be days or even a week until your watch sees the update and prompts you to upgrade.[Read More...]

Hurry up already and hit me with the update! #androidWear

A #GoogleMaps for app for #Android Wear has been discovered, and it's actually fairly functional. Would you use Google Maps on your #AndroidWear smartwatch?
Google says that it’s now pushing the Android 5.1.1 update out to Android Wear devices, which includes features like always-on apps and Wi-Fi support. It’s been discovered that the update also enables a major new feature that Google hasn’t said anything about, too.

Moto hasn't announced or started rolling it out at all, yet.

I have a minor gut feeling - next week at I/O, they'll trot out the 360 v2, and then we might start seeing the update on our watches.

But yes, can't wait. Such a major revision.

Introduction
Where am I?
Currently living in Narooma with my wife and three children.
What do I do?
I work in the Tourism and IT industries. We (my wife and I) are the onsite managers of some holiday apartments on the South Coast of NSW. I also run my own small IT consultancy business where I work with local (and sometimes not so local) small businesses and organisations to streamline their use of technology.

I have always had a passion for Open Source software and open communication to aid in business development which is where working with small businesses can really benefit their bottom line. I just really enjoy tinkering with technology!

This has to be one of the best finds of the trip! It is right in the heart of the action, with all the "local" places right out side the front door, you get the feel of the true, non tourist Rome as soon as you step out the door. The room was immaculate, clean and well presented with all the mod cons, free Wifi included. Breakfast was very nice and the staff very helpful. Definitely recommend this and would stay again in a heartbeat!

A great Irish pub on one of the main streets. Great service and beer at the perfect temperature, not too warm and not chilled to be flavourless.

Service by office and ground staff was exceptional and the cleanliness of amenities was too. Our in-laws had an ensuite van site which accomodated their large dual axle van with room to spare. The cabin we stayed in appeared practically brand new and was spotless. Couldnt give a higher recommendation for a caravan park. We will be back!
