Flossing young teeth can be hard, especially if your child has new permanent teeth with wide gaps. Dental tape is a great solution to floss teeth with larger gaps. Dental tape is wide and flat and designed to be gentle on exposed gums. The width of dental tape makes it easier for small hands to grasp it, and makes it more forgiving when children use too much pressure while flossing. #toothlove

We see children with Frappuccinos and similar drinks all the time. But aside from ordering them caffeine free, did you know that they’re also incredibly high in sugar? Sugar is notoriously destructive for teeth, and you want to limit your child’s sugar intake. You would never give your child 19 packets of sugar, yet that’s exactly how much sugar is contained in a single Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino! #ToothLove

Did you know that a glass of milk can help save a knocked out tooth? Water will cause the root cells of the tooth to swell, while leaving it dry will cause them to shrink. A shift in either direction will make the tooth more difficult to put back, but milk maintains the correct fluid balance in the root cells of the tooth giving it the best chance at being saved. #ToothLove
