A little something from my buddy +Donny Rhoades this morning. If you're having troubles in the problem solving department, why not try this approach. It is logical.
Meaning “good change” the Kaizen method was developed for manufacturing optimization most notably at Toyota and applied to healthcare, banking, government,

If user experience isn't one of your top priorities when optimizing a site, then you shouldn't claim to be a digital marketer.

This is spot on from +Patrick Hathaway.

#UX #SEO
During 2014, Google has released a host of updates that focus on user experience. This post describes what Google have been up to and why SEOs need to care.

Get beyond just blogging people. It isn't about who can publish more content or how fast it can be produced. It is about strategy.

Take a read. Thought provoking stuff from +Joel Klettke (as always).
While the blog is a friendly old standby and a great tool, it’s not the only one in your tool kit. As the content arms race ramps up, there is still an advantage to be had for businesses who think outside the confines of blogging and invest their time into different mediums, formats and approaches.

Troubles identifying keyword opportunities?
So, SEO is DEAD. Yeah freaking right! But, there are a lot of solid considerations that force those of us who self-identify as SEO’s to take a closer look at what we’re really doing… One thing is for damn sure, now is not the time to give up on search rankings, and for one big reason …

Today's post of the day winner is Mr. +John-Henry Scherck. He enjoys writing, long walks in the park and apparently the TV series "Shark Tank" on ABC.

In all seriousness, this is a fun little post on the advantages of open source technology use for business (small or large).  It is well worth the 5 minute read.
ABC’s Shark Tank is a US television show and a favorite among American entrepreneurs. Each week, business owners offer up a piece of their equity in exchange for cash from savvy and respected investors. It’s exciting to see entrepreneurs get their dreams funded — but what do these contestants have in common? And although a [...]

I participated in a recent Q&A session with +Narrative Science  to talk about my experiences with their Quill Engage product. Take a gander if you want.

A shout out to +John-Henry Scherck for turning me on to using their product. Really has been a game changer for me when it comes to reporting for small businesses.
This week, we’re highlighting Quill Engage user Michael J. Kovis. Kovis has been obsessed with the creation and optimization of websites since the mid 90’s.

Just because you state that you "have been practicing SEO since before most people even heard of Google" doesn't mean you're good at it...

It really doesn't... Sadly, not enough people out there realize this.

A little something, something from the +Joel Klettke himself. Fantastic read for anyone in the marketing industry.

If you still approach SEO with tunnel vision to simply get a site/page/URL to rank for a search query, then you DEFINITELY must read this.

"The opportunity to change is there, and lord knows there's no shortage of advice."
This post is intended to highlight why those SEOs and agencies who're trying to pivot into more of a marketer's role are failing to do so.

My buddy +AJ Kohn sells "Stone Soup". Do you?

This is another one of his fantastic analogies and quite worthy of consuming the next 10 minutes of your life.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I knew Stone Soup from Sesame street when I was a kid. AJ is right on the money with this analogy.

We contacted WCC Roofing back in February 2014 after significant damage occurred to our roofs during high winds from a storm in our townhome community. We were more than impressed by Jason and his teams response to assess the damage, supply a quote, and work with us financially to repair the damages. They were able to make the repairs efficiently and in the highest standard of quality to 20 buildings within a few days. WCC Roofing has earned our homeowners associations future business and we would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a new roof or repairs to their roof.
