I guess you can say you've made it when you need this many trucks for your concert series.

Liftoff!

One of the hawks from the birds of prey demonstration we saw during our visit to the Scottish Deer Centre a few weeks ago. Amazing to see up close. I would not want to be on the receiving end of those talons!

Another keeper from our trip to Scotland. To my youngest daughter's surprise, her resistance to being photographed turned into a pretty cool picture.

Scotch fans. You might recognize the house behind me from the label of The Macallan. That would be the Easter Elchies House, where the story of The Macallan began more than 100 years after the house was built in 1700. They currently have 200,000 casks of whisky maturing on the grounds and there is heavy construction underway to increase their capacity in 2017. Hoping that expanded supply will bring the price back down on the 18 I love so much. : )

Accidental capture.

Thought I was just taking a picture of some yellow grass against a green backdrop, but instead got that plus a fly. I'll take it!

Balmoral Castle, Scotland

Balmoral is privately owned by the Queen and used as her summer residence. It is a working estate and spans 50,000 acres. Beautiful grounds, especially on such a beautiful day.

Introduction
Currently work at Google and manage our global contact center operations for most of our services (e.g. wallet, offers, account recovery, etc.)

Previously worked at Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt) in various technical positions, but finished up my time there as a Systems Project Manager building out Health and Group Benefit Systems for Fortune 100 companies.

When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters, preferably somewhere outdoors in the Bay Area.

For those thinking about adding me to their circles:
  1. I post a lot about Google and Google+
  2. I often share things that are of interest to me (e.g. space and science, metal music, photography, technology and the tech industry, etc)
  3. I look out for people having issues with Google and/or our products and do my best to help them; note: this isn't scaleable given our size, so if I miss you, I am sorry.
  4. And finally, my opinions are my own, not that of Google.  : )

Hidden gem in San Jose; surprised it took us so long to find it. Live music, extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive staff, and really great food. Between all of us, we had just about every meat on the menu - brisket, chicken, hot links, pork ribs - all was tender, juicy and delicious. Seriously finger lickin' good! We finished it off with some peanut butter pie, which was a great conclusion to an unexpectedly fun and delicious night out with the kids.

Although the restaurant is a little on the small side, the food was hands down some of the best I've ever had. For starters, we had the calamari salad, which was a mix of calamari, olives, and cucumber in a balsamic dressing. A very healthy portion and a great start to the evening. For dinner, I ordered the filet, which was cooked to perfection, and came with an accompaniment of tomato and mozzarella salad. Combined, it was like heaven. To finish off our evening, we had the banana bread pudding. Another winner. Large portion and perfect amount of banana. Not a single let down the entire night. Highly recommend.
