Barak Obama Has It Wrong
At a White House summit meeting on Wednesday February 18, 2015, United States President, Barak Obama said that the U.S. is not at war with Islam, but with those who have perverted that religion. He further claimed that no religion is responsible for violence and terrorism. One of the saddest things about the occasion was that the gathering hosted police leaders, lawmakers, and mayors from all around the world. While we can probably take heart in that some of those leaders knew and know the fallacy of Obama’s claims, some, probably the majority, of them swallowed Obama’s nonsense hook, line, and sinker.
If The United States is not at war with Islam, it ought to be, and here is why. Both the personal history of Muhamad and the Quran shed light on the fact that Islam by virtue of its true doctrine is as violent, if not more violent, than any movement ever known unto man. It is simply untrue that Islamic terrorists have high jacked a religion of peace. Except for those Muslims who have turned their back on the true meaning of that false religion, all Muslims are violent and seek either the conversion or the putting to death of everyone else.
Where Barak Obama, and most all of the news media have it wrong is simple. As long as the Quran exists, and as long as there are those who follow it to the letter, there will be violence on the part of its adherents, because Islam is violent at its core. Unless the United States is at war with Islam, it, along with its blasphemous book will always produce terrorists. A religion of violence is what Islam is. Islam must be stamped out from the face of the earth or there will always be Islamic terrorists.
Of course, the way to stamp out Islam is not really with a physical army, but a spiritual one. The soldiers of Christ, with His book of truth in their hands, must wage a spiritual battle against Islam. That battle is not to extinguish the physical lives of Muslims. Rather, it is a battle for their hearts and souls. Jesus stated Himself that he is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). Christians, armed with the sword of the Spirit (Eph. 6:17), must wage war against Islam, as well as all other false religions, with the intent and purpose to extinguish them from the face of the earth, and to save as many souls as will hear, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We do not doubt that when Islamic terrorists kill, burn, behead, and otherwise murder and maim innocent people, there is a time and place for military action. There is no doubt that we live in such a time and place. Still, the only way to defeat Islamic terrorism is to defeat the religion that produces it. That battle can only be won by the spread of the Gospel of love and salvation for the souls of man.
