Nice post on Linkedin by a good lawyer friend of mine.
Today Slawson ESQ sent a demand letter to a Jefferson County contractor in an attempt to recoup serious damages and deficiencies in his rehab project for my client. One mistake was so bad the concert

Here's a link to an article I just published on Linkedin about law firms complying with ethics rules regarding technology, defeating hackers, and protecting client data. If you don't have time to read it, I'm running a test of Microsoft Office 365 versus Google Apps for Business.

Hi +Michael Evans, we don't "officially" integrate with those CRM's, but they should still work. Once you're a customer, contact our amazing customer support team and they can help set up your CRM.
Thanks so much

I was an early advocate for Google+. But the departure of the head of Google+ cannot bode well for the service. Where do you think Google+ is going?
The surprising departure of Google+ chief Vic Gundotra has ignited uncertainty and speculation about the product’s future, including its place in the workplace Apps suite. Even before Gundotra’s resignation last week, the company’s plans for Google+ in the enterprise were unclear. While Google makes it possible for Apps admins to turn on Google+ for their domain users, the social networking site isn’t a core, supported component of that email a...

2 good pieces of advice here: 1. Google+ is for real, and 2. Diversify--don't put all your social media eggs in one basket.
It's critical to reevaluate your social media strategy at least once a year, if not quarterly.

Very interesting findings in study on autism. Could help be as simple as taking probiotics? Even if it turns out that probiotics won't cure autism, it seems to me it's worth trying now, rather than waiting on another study.
Treatment for autism may one day come in the form of a probiotic - live, 'friendly' bacteria like those found in yogurt.

Brand engagement on Google+ almost equaled that of Facebook last year. With the 800 pound gorilla (Google) putting its enormous resources behind a serious effort to build up Google+, it just makes sense for those of us who are rhesus monkeys to climb on the gorilla's back.

Birmingham, AL
Attorney for injured people, consumer advocate, legal and social media marketer, Apple iOS app developer, online publisher, video creator and blogger.
I'm one of the first lawyers in the U.S to use the Internet to connect with clients, and also to connect law firms to jointly handle mass tort cases. I represent people injured by defective drugs, medical devices or other mass torts. I also help lawyers connect with clients using various forms of legal marketing, including normal Internet marketing with SEO, social media marketing, legal videos, online publishing, traditional advertising and public relations. I'm an Internet entrepreneur, I'm available to consult with plaintiffs' firms and small law firms about managed social media marketing and other law firm marketing tools. And I frequently write to share my opinion as a consumer advocate.
Bragging rights
I grew up in the "Free State of Winston," which is a nickname for Winston County in northern Alabama. Winston County attempted to secede from the state of Alabama when Alabama voted to secede from the United States. I grew up hearing stories of local men who were hanged for refusing to join the Confederate Army, while others had to leave their homes and camp out in caves and under bluffs. I also heard the story of a band of Winston County men who raided a town in the neighboring county and burned the railroad station to the ground to protest the hangings and forced enlistments into the Confederate Army. These stories helped instill in me the belief that those with a just cause should not simply bow down in defeat before the those who abuse power. This was one of the reasons I became an attorney and advocate for victims of corporate or governmental wrongdoing.
