An impressive nature counterpart to The High Line in NYC!

Who needs a trail when you can walk amongst the treetops themselves. Lying deep within the Bavarian Forest National Park in Germany is Baumwipfelpfad, the longest tree-top walk in the world. Spanning 1300 meters that brings you up an impressive 25 meters above the ground, the walkway's grand finale ends at a massive egg shaped dome 44 meters high with a 360 degree spiral staircase that gently leads you down, all the while offering breathtaking views of the natural beauty surrounding it. As if that weren't enough, several adventure stations are spaced throughout the pathway incuding a narrow wooden plank that challenges patrons to test their balance and rewarding you with a view of the earth 50 feet below. Personally I'm not one to commune with nature, but I'd love a chance to live like an elf for a day ;)

Hi Joe, it would be important to distinguish the purpose of this community vs the Linkedin group. Thx

Michael -- I think the Google+ community is a new platform to explore. I wanted tomorrow's hangout to focus on the uses of the Google tools for KM. The community structure here is very nice. Not as "cramped" as LinkedIn.
LinkedIn is still the main communications channel for the group. We are evolving however, and we're looking to things happen to reflect today's community needs.

A must watch for my software friends!

Business Insider was blown away by Numecent. Me too!

Business Insider wrote they were blown away by this startup. http://www.businessinsider.com/were-blown-away-this-startup-could-literally-change-the-entire-software-industry-2012-3

I can't disagree. This startup, Numecent, has some pretty mind-blowing cloud-based technology to deliver apps to you without forcing you to download the entire app. Think of things like Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Autodesk's CAD software, etc.

Here founder Osman Kent tells me what's behind this very interesting technology. Learn more at http://www.numecent.com/

Stayed there last year for a conference in the Marriott Wardman Park. Unless you like the convenience of just going up to your room, which might be equally far compared to walking across the street, you have to stay at this B&B. Not as anonymous of course, but if you like to talk to friendly people, you're in for a pleasant experience at a reasonable price for DC. I'll be back if I'm in the area.

While I am not a regular Walmart shopper, this is the worst retail and Walmart experience I've ever had. The store is woefully unorganized, lack of proper supervision, employees standing around. If you find an employee or even a supervisor, they're not very helpful or even overly courteous. There are always positive exceptions but two visits without much help and success were enough for me. I echo other reviews that this store has serious managament issues. Never again. And by the way, don't expect anyone to pick up the phone if you call!

Ridiculously small salad $8, interesting main course $18, faces when plates and bowls arrived: priceless. We won't be coming back. Had the feeling they're trying too hard. Some unusual menu choices, but not a good value at these prices.

I have been going there for several years now. Frank is very nice and competent. Most of all, he's one of the few in his profession who truly listens to you and makes sure you are satisfied!
