A smiling dancing blob :) Neat background effects can be achieved by playing with overlapping patterns/gradients w/ blend modes.

Could I get your feedback on the next Sketchpad release? http://project.sketch.io/sketchpad/

My main goal on this version is to simplify the user interface so there is more room to add new features in future versions! The interface was getting a little bit cramped. I have big plans for the next few releases.

Please let me know what you like and what you don't like about this latest version. I'll try to address everyones concerns before updating the live copy. Thanks!!
Sketchpad; multi-touch, multi-user, non-destructive drawing application written in HTML5.

What languages would you like to see Sketchpad in? I'm currently working with Tethras.com to translate into Spanish and French, which should be ready in 1-week!

I've put together some cash to translate into 8 more languages. This will cost about $2,000 for the professional tier translation service, and so hoping to see great results. I'm looking forwards to native speakers testing the app out.

Here's a list of some of the most common languages on the web:

"Arabic": "العربية" // ar
"Chinese": "中文" // zh-CN
"Dutch": "Nederlands", // nl
"French": "Français", // fr
"German": "Deutsch", // de
"Italian": "Italiano", // it
"Japanese": "日本語" // ja
"Polish": "Polski", // pl
"Portuguese": "Português", // pt
"Russian": "Русский Язык" // ru
"Spanish": "Español", // es
"Swedish": "Svenska" // sv

Arabic would be trickiest, as it's the only RTL (right-to-left) language in the list so interface would need to be re-worked.  Chinese, Japanese, and Russian are the next hardest as they are not Latin based, so would need to find some new fonts for them.  All the others would be pretty easy to do at this point.

If you'd like to see a language, let me know and I'll make it happen, it doesn't have to be on the list above =)

Languages are added in the next version of Sketchpad. You can see an example here:

http://project.sketch.io/sketchpad/?sk=lang:es
http://project.sketch.io/sketchpad/?sk=lang:zh
http://project.sketch.io/sketchpad/?sk=lang:de

They are not all professionally translated at this point, but this is still on the agenda.

Summer vacation in Yellowstone! One of my favorite places in the world, so many colors, and interesting geothermal features. Did you know there are more geysers in Yellowstone than the rest of the world combined? Mind==blown.

If you haven't heard our delicious Organic Ketchup is now available in Costco! This is great news, as it will help bring the cost of production down, and we can pass the savings on to the customer (currently $3.16 per bottle in a 3-pk). I'm excited to see my moms fantastic graphic design work on the boxes! Great work mom, they look beautiful!

I should add we're only in Costco's near Portland OR. If it's not at your local Costco and you ask for it, that'd be an awesome help for us!

+Ríona Sutherland Hi Riona, could you connect with me via hello@sketch.io? I would like to get you to send me the project in .zip format from the dropdown in the menu for testing. I would like to get this sorted out for you as soon as possible.

Just bought a bike helmet at +REI, and was amazed there wasn't an option for completely reflective/refractive/glow-in-the-dark helmets, or helmets with specialized nooks for holding a lights on front/back... does anyone know whether something like this exists? If not, it seems like a great business opportunity for someone/no-brainer.

+Kenneth Pullen Good point, and it's always fun to have glow-in-the-dark paint around, although my roommates may start worrying about me as I start tagging everything in reachable distance. It'd be neat if there was glow-in-the-dark paint that was charged by a slight electrical current... there must be something like that, at least in the future. Hope you're having a blast at Google IO!

I'm a longtime believer in the benefits of massage, and even attended east west collage of massage in Portland. I've had the luxury of being able to pamper myself from time to time. As a connoisseur of good things, I rank Olivia up there at the top of her profession. She has the unique ability of quickly finding the root of a problem, and technique that immediately starts the healing process of tense muscles. After each session my body feels significantly better and healthier. Thanks Olivia!

Do not use Century Link, they have no organizational skills and likely will send you to collections, even after telling you that that they received their modem back. Not to be trusted.
