Crocodile Bay Resort and Fishing lodge is offering Real Estate for sale in Southern Costa Rica, called Hilton Botanika Nature residences for sale now.
Juan Corvinos of Hilton and Sinergo Developments strategy and philosophy promotes business investments in hotel, tourism, and real estate related industries with a combined effort on the part of government and the private sector to ignite growth and improve investment opportunities in the region. This philosophy does not promote nature nor conservation. The sales propaganda doesn’t have any green ink on it, failing to disclose the location of noisy airport next to their development.

Bill Gates and Al Waleed bin Talal see Puerto Jimenez as we do. Awesome! But to put their trust in Sinergo Development to build Papagayo Four Seasons to code and in in the end, for a long time, local rural tourism was destroyed on the Nicoya and now they are planning to break ground in Puerto Jimenez. I believe our new mystery owners for Crocodile Bay Resort are – Bill Gates and Al-Waleed bin Talal- the heir to the Saudi Throne! Neither one of them have ever been to The Osa, they rely on Juan Corvinos to make their decisions for them, and he relies on David Belinko, and Belinko relies on videographers to doll up the project with videos and presentations and make it look like the whole town is cheering and waiting with baited breath. When in fact, recent videos blotted out the airport and cemetery on the propaganda being sent to potential buyers. What else are they not disclosing?The legal documents were only ready to sign last week and ‘most likely’ have not sold a single condo! Sure, they have some deposits, but until Hilton’s name was on contract, they had nothing to sell. I believe these billionaires do not have their own money tied up in it. It’s still in regional -local hands and neither of the real owners have ever seen it, nor do they have significant money tied up in it. It’s still in local hands who will likely hand this project over and depart the Osa.

If this is all true and I believe it to be so, then let’s ask Bill Gates and Al-Waleed for a new public septic system in Puerto Jimenez, expand AYA water system and acquire property for the purposes of a sustainable landfill and transfer station. $15-30 million is nothing for these two billionaires. Those that have an idea of the cost or such projects- should write Juan Corvinos a letter and ask for a donation to get these projects started in addition to their ‘proposed’ 50 condos that were supposed to break ground 2 months ago.

Can anyone answer these questions;
If they have backing of Gates and Al Waleed bin Talal – why wait for sales of condos?
Why do they not have a budget for marketing?
Why did the put up a simple billboard for a multi -million dollar project?
But yet, they have Bill Gates and Al-Waleed in their financial corner and name of the Hilton?
If they are ‘truly’ breaking ground on Feb 18, 2017- Why haven’t they?
Where’s the photo of them with shovel, cigars and champagne?

There are still many unanswered questions put forth by some in the community which addresses local infrastructure, where will materials be obtained, how will local small businesses benefit (guides for example who are currently self-employed will likely become an employee), where is the local water/environmental impact study, trash, septic, marina open to public, why so secretive if the town is supposedly going to benefit, and many other questions asked over and over which have been unanswered…?

All they look for in our community is a way to utilize resources and fail to consider what negative impact it WILL have. Do a few promised jobs balance all of this out?
Something is missing in this story? More details to come as they unfold. In my opinion, we’ve got the biggest players coming to the Osa-but only if they can create a false market can they start their Osa development campaign this year.

To our favor and a fact of the matter, there is no market, and the ‘small’ market that exists will be owned by Golfito Marina – completing soon. I believe without any condo sales, both Bill Gates and Al-Waleed will lose interest and continue their expansions at other Hilton properties in Nicoya, Pavones, Caribbean and Panama. I believe this development can still be stopped. They really have nothing to sell next to a busy airport- cemetery and no beach. All they have is paper, videos and a name, but no real money to put this project on the map.

Costa Rica Fishing Lodge and Resort is partnering their real estate development and sale of Condominiums in Costa Rica as Hilton Curio Botanika Nature Residences for sale now, supposedly?
Combined - they are the largest hotel chain in the world and The owners of Crocodile Bay Resort have chosen ‘The Peninsula Developer Extraordinaire’ - Sinergo Development, to develop the Osa Peninsula.

This is the same contractor that closed public beaches because of raw sewage the year after it was built in 2007, 2008 and again in 2009 on the Nicoya Peninsula. It was the ‘ONLY’ beach in Costa Rica closed by the safety and health department. What followed after the water supply, estuary and beach were all contaminated? 100’s of other local rural tourism business were forced to close due to beach closure. In 2007, Both Gates and Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal visited the Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica in to view their Costa Rica real estate investment.

Crocodile Bay Resorts in Costa Rica newest Partnership and Real Estate with Hilton Hotels Botanika Curio Hilton Hotel and Resorts In Costa Rica seem to have landed a new partnership with 'get this', Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, and Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal are both investors in the world-famous Four Seasons Hotels/Hilton Hotels, with Gates holding 5% of the total shares and the Saudi Prince holding 42% shares.

Their companies -Cascade Investments, Blackstone and Kingdom Holding Company own a total of 47.5% stake in ‘All’ Hilton Worldwide Properties making them the two principal shareholders of the largest hospitality conglomerate in the world. Four Seasons and more importantly ‘Hilton Botanika Nature Residences. Prince Alwaleed through Kingdom Holdings Company and Bill Gates’ Cascade with Isadore Sharp acquired the Four Seasons for US$ 3.8 billion when the company was taken private in 2007.
The Saudi Prince and Mr. Gates met as early as 2004 at Bill Gates’ home in Washington state. Prince Alwaleed agreed to explore ways to assist Microsoft's expansion in Saudi Arabia. Bill gates investment company – Cascade Investments and Blackstone Group also own MeriStar Hospitality, Extended Stay America, Prime Hospitality, Boca Resorts, Wyndham International and La Quinta.
