Michael Cohn is the founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of CompuKol Communications.

CompuKol Communications is a consulting company specializing in developing communication strategies for small businesses that require expertise in promoting a unique business voice and vision.

What do I do best

CompuKol Communications handles clients' web needs from analysis of requirements, information architecture, site design and development, ISP selection, installation, search engine optimization (SEO), and maintenance. We offer online writing and editing: online newsletters, magazine, and newspaper articles, blogs, wikis, and discussion forums.

On the print media side, we bring two decades of experience to the ever-challenging process of creating compelling and unique content. We offer transcription from audio files, book reviews, journal articles, abstracts, posters, web content, and newsletters and newspaper articles. On the editing side, we offer content editing and copyediting/proofreading of all materials that was written by us as well as materials that have already been written and need to be revised or rewritten.

Education

Michael earned a Master's degree in project management from George Washington University in Washington, DC; and a Master's degree in computer science and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ.

Mr. Cohn is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Experience

Mr. Cohn has over 25 years of experience in IT and web technologies. Mr. Cohn spent a significant amount of time at a major telecommunications company, where his main focus was on initiating and leading synergy efforts across all business units by dramatically improving efficiency, online collaboration, and the company's Intranet capabilities, which accelerated gains in business productivity. He also reduced company travel and travel costs by introducing and implementing various collaboration technologies.

His expertise includes business analysis; project management; management of global cross-matrix teams; systems engineering and analysis, architecture, prototyping and integration; technology evaluation and assessment; systems development; performance evaluation; and management of off-shore development.

A few weeks later, my wife and I returned to the showroom and because of Romeo’s more “gentle” approach a few weeks earlier, we wanted him to be the person with whom we would negotiate. I don’t buy cars very often and I am always very careful to research what I want in advance so that when I am actually at the point where I am ready to make a deal, the experience will go smoothly and quickly. Romeo honored the price that I had found on the Internet. I believe that he did everything possible to make us feel that he really wanted our business and that our satisfaction with the vehicle as well our satisfaction with the price were at the top of his priority list. In the end, we successfully negotiated and bought the vehicle from him and my wife and I are very happy with our purchase.
