In What Ways Are Influencers Important for Your Business?

Being a LinkedIn influencer is a wonderful thing for your career. Other business owners are constantly trying to connect with influencers because it helps their business.

In a recent blog post, we wrote, How Do You Recognize Influencers? in order to increase your business' reputation. The other side of the coin is how to achieve LinkedIn influencer status yourself so that you can positively influence other businesses. One thing that you should keep in mind is that there is influencer status and then there is influencer status on LinkedIn. The two are not the same thing.

Do You Own the Copyright to Your Content? Why Is it so Important?

Copyright ownership may not have been something that you thought about very often (or at all); however, you need to have it in mind all of the time and be cognizant of doing the right thing.
#Copyrights #ContentMarketing #LegalCompliance
http://www.compukol.com/ensuring-that-you-own-your-contents-copyright/

You have been a prolific writer for your business for a long time and, of course, just like all other writers, you use sources to back up the facts that you write in your content. Of course, there is no reason for you to assume anything other than the fact that you own the copyright of all of the content that you are writing.

How Do You Add Your Voice to Curated Content?

Adding your voice to curated content is an extremely valuable thing to do. People interact with you and read what you are sharing with them because they recognize the value that it holds.
#ContentCuration #ContentMarketing
http://www.compukol.com/understanding-the-value-of-your-voice-in-content-curation/

When it comes to writing content, there is no doubt that you want your content to be interesting and memorable. Hopefully, you are publishing a combination of original and curated content. That gives your readers interesting articles to read and a wider, more unique perspective. However, your curated content will not be valuable to your business if you don't add your personal spin.

How Do You Recognize a Winning Content Idea?

It is important for you to recognize great ideas when they are in front of you and to run with them. The more appropriate and valuable those ideas are, the more important you will be to your online connections.

http://www.compukol.com/knowing-when-to-welcome-a-content-opportunity/
The chances are great that if you are responsible for writing your own content, at some point in time, you will experience some sort of writer's block. The truth is that you can't just snap your fingers and the content will flow each and every time you want it to.

Why Is Using Curated Content Valuable for Your Business?

It is important to remember that content curation does not mean merely presenting someone else’s writing without any effort on your part.
#ContentCuration #ContentMarketing #Blogging
http://www.compukol.com/back-to-the-basics-of-content-curation/
You have undoubtedly heard the term, content curation. In fact, you may be using curated content for your business as we speak. As you read the vast amount of material that is available to you on the Internet, you have come across content that is rather complex and convoluted.

When Did You Last Tweak Your Social Media Profiles?

Once you start to hone your social media profiles, you will probably find that it won’t take a lot of time to do each one but it will make a big difference to your business.
#SocialMedia #SocialMediaProfiles
http://www.compukol.com/honing-your-social-media-profiles-effectively/
Many people pay a lot of attention to social media. However, do those same people pay as much attention to their social media profiles? There are many different reasons why people don't update their social media profiles regularly, such as lack of time or simply forgetting about them. However, honing your social media profiles effectively and regularly will produce positive results.

How Do You Keep Your Clients Happy?

From the moment that you launched your business until now (and to the end of time), you need to dedicate all of your time and energy to giving the other person what he or she wants and needs. If you succeed at that, your business will also succeed.
#TargetAudience #TargetMarketing #MarketingStrategies
http://www.compukol.com/determining-what-your-target-audience-wants-and-needs/
When it comes to your target audience members, it is not always easy to determine exactly what they want and need. However, you probably agree that it must always be your main focus. Your needs (as a business owner) should come second to what the other person wants and needs.

How Do You Maintain Solid Relationships With Your Clients?

Building solid connections with your existing and prospective clients will really pay off for your business eventually. Of course, just like anything meaningful in life, building a solid relationship takes effort and time but, if you do it right, you will get so much more out of it than you put into it.
#CustomerRelationshipManagement #BusinessRelationships #CustomerService
http://www.compukol.com/building-solid-connections-with-your-clients/
The relationships that you share with your clients is the bread-and-butter of your business. If you aren't taking those connections seriously, it is certainly time for you to do so. You must initially establish a connection and then you will fortify that connection so that it is enduring and solid.

What Motivates People to Search for Your Products and Services?

Whether you realize it consciously or not, there is a definite psychology behind the entire searching process and what results from searching.
#Search #SEO #ContentMarketing
http://www.compukol.com/the-psychological-power-of-searching/
With the online capabilities that we have all come to rely upon in our day-to-day business lives, it is often easy to forget that there is a lot more to it than just searching. In fact, there is a psychological influence behind it and having a deep understanding of that can really positively affect your search results.

What Is the ROI of Your Blogging Efforts?

Content and social media are both all about the relationship. If you build the relationship with the other person, you will begin to build trust between you and you will start to share common emotional/human experiences that will take you both very far indeed.
#Blogging #TargetAudience #ContentMarketing
http://www.compukol.com/converting-blog-readers-into-clients/
The more you blog, the better you will become at blogging. One thing that is for sure is that blogging (if you do it right) is a big responsibility. Remember, responsibility is not always a bad thing. It puts you in control of your own professional fate. People will read your blogs and you will build a relationship with them.

I resist sharing the typical "10 Rules for Success" posts because most of them are written by "life coaches" whose only success is tricking you into buying their success class.

This is different. First, it's as real as Louis CK, and if you know his comedy at all, you know that's real. Second, it's a masterful compilation of Louis just talking, both his standup and interviews. This is just the outflow of what he shares all the time.

I got so much out of this I know I'll be watching it again, and I'll probably play it for my team at Stone Temple Consulting.

A few weeks before we actually bought our 2015 Ford Escape from Rt. 23 Automall, I was having something upgraded on my 2014 Ford Explorer in the Service Department. I had some time to wait so I walked over to the showroom. I had researched the Ford Escape for about a year and we knew that this was the car that we wanted for my wife. Romeo Gray-Real was the first person I saw in the showroom and I briefly told him what I had in mind. Unlike the majority of salespeople whom I had encountered in the past, Romeo was helpful but in no way pushy or aggressive. He showed me what he had and let me look at those vehicles on my own. A few weeks later, my wife and I returned to the showroom and because of Romeo’s more “gentle” approach a few weeks earlier, we wanted him to be the person with whom we would negotiate. I don’t buy cars very often and I am always very careful to research what I want in advance so that when I am actually at the point where I am ready to make a deal, the experience will go smoothly and quickly. Romeo honored the price that I had found on the Internet. I believe that he did everything possible to make us feel that he really wanted our business and that our satisfaction with the vehicle as well our satisfaction with the price were at the top of his priority list. In the end, we successfully negotiated and bought the vehicle from him and my wife and I are very happy with our purchase.
