I always looked at it like, as you grow older and do and learn more things. There are less things to do and learn and its only getting worse as he grows leaving behind people and people leaving him behind. btw RIP Jay <3

The Internet’s main engineers have asked the architects of Tor—networking software designed to make Web browsing private—to consider turning the technology into an Internet standard.

If widely adopted, such a standard would make it easy to include the technology in consumer and business products ranging from routers to apps. This would, in turn, allow far more people to browse the Web without being identified by anyone who might be spying on Internet traffic.
Following NSA surveillance revelations, talks advance on making the privacy-protecting tool Tor an Internet standard.

Introduction

Michael Cervieri is the founder of the Future Journalism Project and digital lead at WITNESS, a non-profit that trains activists and organizations how to use video to document human rights abuses.

An Emmy Award winning producer, he's taught at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs on how governmental agencies, NGO's, citizen journalists and activists use Internet and mobile communication technologies, and at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism on digital media tools, techniques and processes.
