MUST READ ALERT!!! Great insight on developing an outreach campaign.
A couple months ago, my friend, Amy Taylor, told me about a brand that she had fallen in love with: Poppy Soap Company. As soon as I heard about them, I made a mental note to buy soap. But, I got busy. Closed the tab in my browser. Moved on. Out of sight, out of …

What's your take on increasing business with Social Media? I think we don't take the service experience far enough and are missing opportunities to really be great.

Thoughts?

Email Is Still the Best Thing on the Internet

"Yet, despite all the prognosticators predicting it will—choose the violence level of your metaphor—go out of style, be put out to pasture, or taken out back and shot, email grinds on."

Thanks +Lauren Michelle Kinsey for sharing my post. I think the 5 P's provide a good framework for those looking to start a business.

What stage of business development are you in? I know so many small business owners who haven't ever written a business plan, some who haven't even done the basic paperwork. They'd be much better off if they had worked the 5 P's from +Michael Bowers of the +Ohio Small Business Development Center

The food is good when you can get it. This is the second time I have gone there and they not have Prime Rib. Note, they serve Prime Rib Friday, Saturday and Sunday's after 4:00. I ordered it on Sunday at 4:02 and they were out. They also had no Ranch dressing which seems like a staple that they would have. To top it off they didn't bring our appetizers. To be clear I won't be back. Pretty much any other steakhouse would have similar food quality without the frustration.

The venue is way to small so expect to wait. While the food is pretty good but it can't make up for the wait. It would also appear the kitchen needs an upgrade as once we finally got seated it took forever to get the food. If you go here and there is ANYONE waiting you should turn around and leave. Many places that would provide a better experience in Marysville.
