This is crazy. I almost want to root for the guy!
An inmate who was in prison for multiple charges of fraud is apparently up to his old tricks. Posing as a senior court clerk, Neil Moore, 28, used an illicit mobile phone to email fake bail instructions to prison staff, who released him. Well, that's embarrassing.

After a long journey¹, Chrome Remote Desktop has been updated to a full-fledged Chrome App. This means no more tricks such as "Open as a window" to get around unexpected keyboard shortcuts.

The custom window title bar will allow you to create as many new connections/windows as you wish and even go fullscreen. And since it's a Chrome App, you can add it to your shelf/dock/ taskbar/desktop to quicky access it.

So has anyone tried adding their +Google Wallet card to Apple Pay? I tried a while ago and it failed, but supposedly Bancorp (the partner financial institution behind the card) supports Apple Pay.

For that matter, I wonder if my +Simple card will work...?

This is fantastic news, because while I'm not a user of Amazon's cloud storage, their competitors will have to respond accordingly at some point.

I'm looking at you, +Dropbox and +Google Drive! :-)

The IRONy
When you put a strong magnet next to some ordinary cereal, strange things happen. Most breakfast cereals contain iron, which is important for our diet. The iron in the cereal is so attracted to the magnet that it can even move the cereal around a dish.

For anyone that attended Google I/O last year, how long after registration ended were you notified that you could purchase a ticket? Just wanna know how long I have to wait on pins and needles...

Unfortunately I didn't get a ticket last year but I did sign up. If I remember correctly last year we got the email a couple of days after the registration closed. Based on what I've read in the FAQ though I'm guessing this year we'll know sooner. (Today or tomorrow depending on which side of the globe you're on)

Wow, this is exactly the kind of functionality Chrome OS needs!

+Yoichiro Tanaka certainly didn't want to stop playing with the new Chrome OS File System Provider¹ API and just released a new Chrome App that lets you access all your Dropbox files directly from the Files App.

As usual, he shares publicly all source code on GitHub² so that you can learn how to use the API and report feedback easily.

Least but not last, checkout Yoichiro's File System Chrome Apps³. You will maybe find one that suits you.

File System for Dropbox is available now on the Chrome Web Store at https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/file-system-for-dropbox/hlffpaajmfllggclnjppbblobdhokjhe/
