While looking at #racing event tickets for this summer, I came across this amazing bit of #superbike helmet cam footage from #Moport (now Canadian Tire Motor Speedway):

There are people in the world who deserve respect for the amount of study they've put into a subject. There are others you should never pick a fight with. This 70 yr old is both ...

The trouble with using vulnerabilities for signals intelligence... "There isn't a Bad Guy Internet and a Good Guy Internet. There's no Bad Guy Operating System and Good Guy Operating System. When GCHQ discovers something breakable in a computer system that Iranians depend upon, they've also discovered something amiss that Britons rely upon."

As posted by Henry David Rosso in Grammarly on Facebook:

So you want to teach English

Quick. Before we have to learn Chinese
Let’s get the world to speak English
No, not English
American
But have you thought of
How to pronounce pronunciation?
Do you tell them there are
Three to’s in the English language?
How do you write that sentence?
To, Too, Two
How do you pronounce two?
Don’t whine with your wine
Farmers produce produce
Tell them to refuse refuse
Explain that the dove dove into the woods
But would you use wood with would?
How do you tell the Polish how to polish?
Will you present the present tense?
Tell the story of the bass singer catching the bass
Did the bass see the dove when it dove into the woods?
What does the herd of does do when you see them?
Does a sow know how to sow?
No, I don’t know
Hope your students don’t have to wound a bandage
On a wound
Did you object to the object?
I could lead if I wasn’t weighed down by lead
Wait, was that weight?
Was the insurance invalid for the invalid?
Can you row a canoe in a row?
Can’t use a boat in the desert
You would have to desert your dessert
There was such a number that my mind got number
Can you wind in your kite in the wind?
Will a dress sewer work in a sewer?
We are close enough to the end to close this
But I shed a tear to tear myself away
So I will subject you subjects to more
I thought I would cough through the ough words
Although I could come up with
A thousand more
I ought to be more thorough
Though I caught more than I sought

Well that seems like a really bad idea ... a gear shift that doesn't act like one.

NHTSA says a badly-designed automatic shifter is confusing drivers, causing them to exit a vehicle that's still in gear. 121 crashes and 30 injuries have been reported.

Proud of my daughter +* for making brown belt last night in #karate. It's good to see her strong and able to defend herself if need be.

Story

Tall opinionated computer guy
Introduction
I tend to think a lot, and I make a living doing a lot of computer related stuff.  I enjoy photography, coding, gaming, music and movies and spending time with my family.

See http://mikebabcock.ca/aboutme for some more of my idiosyncrasies and my personality profile.

As for G+, I post about whatever I find interesting at the moment -- I don't have anything to plug or push on anyone except my thoughts.  If I share a product or website, its because I actually value it or found it interesting.

I love photography, and art in general, I enjoy good stories, books, video games and movies.  I'm an expert in many things computer-related, including networking, Linux, programming and a variety of database and hardware thing-a-ma-bobs.

Feel free to ask me random computer questions if you see me online, I may be busy, and I may not know, but if I do I try to help out.  Mind you, if you're making money off my answers, send me some of it ;-).

Absolutely fantastic flavours, wonderfully fresh ingredients and innovative combinations. The crab cakes are unique and delectable, the fresh pasta simply devine and I could eat the Moroccan meatballs with couscous forever.
