Who says you need a few million bucks to build a supercomputer? Joshua Kiepert put together a Linux-powered Beowulf cluster with Raspberry Pi computers for less than $2,000.

Two year-old Tessa Evans was born with an extremely rare medical condition that means she has no nose or sense of smell.  A 3D printer is to be used in ground-breaking surgery which will involve a mould being inserted into Tessa's face to stretch her skin, and slowly build the cosmetic implant.

Where is the research and proof that using estrus contributes to CWD? And adding a license to bear hunt is only going to cause the bear population to get higher.

These two new laws seem to contradict one another... help prevent the spread of disease that is killing deer but let's increase the bear population who like to eat on fawns.

Star Wars made us yearn to fly through space, blasting at enemies and saving the day. For years, video game companies have tried to approximate that experience with everything from 1983’s Star Wars [...]

My party started with an appetizer of calamari. It was a little oily and did not come with any lemon as we expected. I personally ordered the Mahi Mahi with mango / pineapple salsa. I got a side of green beans and a side of red mashed taters. The green beans were really good as were the mashed potatoes. However, there were red pepper flakes on my Mahi Mahi that literally ruined the flavor of the fish. My wife had the crab legs which were delicious, however her sides were only "okay" at best. Our close friend had the catch of the day which was a blackened rock fish. His meal was really good but his cole slaw was a bit watery. The hush puppies were as good as expected. The pricing was much more than what you were getting for the food.

We tried several pizza places that were NOT Pizzazz Pizza. One answered their phone and immediately said "Hold" with a disconnect several times. The other, busy signal eternal. This place was not bad at all and the service was really good. We were not able to order online because their web site mapping tool to select your pizza shop did not work. However, the girl at the register honored the online discount all the same. We ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza and the Deluxe. Also, an order of chicken wings. Everything was as good as was expected. It is not a fancy pizza place, but on a budget it hit the spot.

Literally some of the best donuts we have ever had. EVER! The staff was really friendly and no order is too outlandish for them (ever had a suicide donut with everything on it?). During our vacation we literally went over and must have cleared 20+ donuts. I feel fat now but, happy.

I am a local and can say that this is a great place to hit up if you are looking for a really good burger. I almost always get their Spicy Southwestern Chipotle burger. Really hits the spot. In the past I have tried other items on their menu (caesar salad, ribs, etc.) but have not been too impressed. Also, the service is a bit slow depending on how busy they are as well as the time of the day. Slower than the other restaurants in the area I should say. If those two items were fixed up I would give them 5 stars instead of 4. If you want a really good burger though, this is the place to visit.

We stopped here on our way to the Outer Banks. 2 of the 3 in the party got the lunch buffet while our 3rd got the country ham. Everything was tasty. Our only complaint was the amount of time it took for our server to come to our table. She seemed to disappear for quite a length of time while we waited for our check. Also, the hush puppies and coconut cake were extremely dry.

Just went there a few hours ago. Ordered crab legs (they were frozen and pre-cooked), a tuna steak, two pounds of shrimp (de-veined and de-shelled), a block of butter, some crab dip, and some seasoning. The staff was nice and even let my son play with a lobster. However, the food was not very good at all. The crab dip had imitation crab in it, very apparent, and all of the shrimp as well as the butter had the taste of freezer burn about it. We ended up literally dumping the shrimp in the trash after only about 3 pieces being eaten. The tuna steak was okay but not great. I don't know if it is because we came later in the season but I suspect your better bet is to head to one of the other markets. The high number of freezers in this "market" should have been my sign. The seasoning was good and my wife enjoyed her crab legs. So that is why I gave 2 stars instead of just 1 star.

If you are looking for an Endodontist to help you with your teeth I would avoid this one and look elsewhere. It is my opinion that Dr. David Kenee will misinform you and then do nothing beneficial to help you resolve any issues that may come up post-operation. Nor will he admit his mistakes. Shifting blame to other items "outside his control". No accountability for what I believe was a series of misdiagnosis on his part. My experience with his office was simply what I feel to be a failure to properly diagnose and treat my root canals after they had gotten infected. This led me to have to go in for a second re-treatment, which admittedly he did not charge me for, but again failed. Throughout this process he was very reserved in the amount of details he provided me regarding what was going on with that tooth. Later claiming that he covered everything in great detail with me. This simply just is not true. After the first re-treatment I approached his office and was scheduled for the second. During that meeting he looked at the tooth and radiology. He ultimately blamed a loose crown as the reason bacteria was getting under the tooth. Though after I scheduled to have the crown addressed with my restoration dentist I was told it wasn't necessary. Therefore leading me to cancel that appointment. I was even told that silver was "mixed" to put in as a permanent filling but found that this wasn't true either. Without my knowledge a temporary filling was used instead. After visiting another dentist I was informed that my canals were fractured beyond repair at this point. I have my suspicions that this was due to the multiple root canals done on this tooth. Also, that the crown really wasn't sitting on there properly and did need addressing. And, to adding icing to the cake I was told the filling was a temporary and not a permanent. I eventually had the tooth extracted because it was irreparable. Again, I would warn you to find another Endodontist before visiting this guy. I filled official complaints with multiple dental authorities and have will not visit their offices in the future nor will any member of my family. While he would have you believe he was very detailed and appropriate with his work on my molar, I don't feel that he was and now I am out $1,265.00 as well as missing my number 18 molar.
