Two years ago today, Russell came in the house, jumped on Sophie's food dish, and made himself at home. He kept us.

A month and a half. An FCC complaint filed. A ticket which I was told to wait for 5 days later. I FINALLY got a Sprint iPhone 5s "unlocked" to work on ATT and T-Mobile. For a tentative trip next year this is the least expensive most compatible phone to have. As you can see in the upper left I'm on cricket. Took the SIM out of my Nexus 5 and put it the 5s and it FINALLY worked. What a pain in the ass to get them to finally do it.

It was my last phone call I was going to make. After this one I was cancelling my service. I'm cancelling anyway now. But tomorrow. After I test it at work.

I do not recommend anyone try this with a 5s on sprint. Unless you bought the phone yourself as I didn't, it WILL make you pull your hair out if you have any.

I'm keeping it. The Nexus is my daily driver. This whole process was for the trip. And options. I also have a one plus one and an Amazon Fire phone I use too. I like options.

Cool
Guys...  I am Tony Stark. The moment I strapped Pyro by Ellusionist onto my wrist,  I felt this incredible wave of giddiness.  It was like every comic book fantasy I ever had was coming true. I was wearing a device that gave me the power to shoot fireballs from my wrist: That's right. Strap on this unit and you'll have wireless control over to summon fire at will. Check it out on this week's Behind the Scam: Okay, quick-but-important legal mum...

Makes you wonder about weird ass porn searches and what they may lead to. Or not.

This would go good with my soon to come fiber internet.
Google is getting into the Wi-Fi router business with the just revealed OnHub. The router was developed in partnership with TP-LINK, and is designed to be easy to set up and use and is supposed to offer users better wireless connections. Google said they wanted to make OnHub look different than the typical router, with none of the usual blinking lights or external antennas. Instead,...

I cheated and used a toolkit to flash this time because I was lazy and wanted to do a non destructive update with the factory image. I know how to do it but the toolkit is just click click boom.

The only place this visit to PCB that we went to twice. It was our "last one for the road" meal when leaving. I had a burrito with everything BUT tomatoes and mango sauce. It was amazing. Could literally taste each layer of the ingredients. Definitely recommend going here.

Pretty good pizza. Got two of their thickest pizzas. It was all crust and the dough was premade taken out of plastic wrap. Not a bad flavor though. Not a GREAT pizza either. I'd get a pizza from there again but just not the THICK one. Not worth the money.

Got there early. Birthday dinner for me. Staff was fun and funny from the moment we walked in. They were friendly and even more fun throughout dinner. Even went so far as to have everyone that was there sing happy birthday. I had the rib eye and fried lobster and I haven't been this full in a LONG TIME. Stuffed. We will definitely be going back.
