Last year's Saturn.

At the time I took this I thought it was pretty poor conditions and didn't do much with it.  After this season's debacle, last year's poor conditions seem great!

I'de say no longer glorifying the side of racism & slavery is a good thing for freedom, and the Apple store thingy was an overreaction (which, BTW, has since been correced, +Tsvetomir T. ) -  I don't think anyone is proposing "erasing historical moments" here, but having the old battle flag of the CSA hanging outside public buildings is not far removed from some German town hanging up the red, white and black Swastica flag in front of the town hall...

More backlog.   this is M92 with an overexposed core, but at 1.5hrs 2x2 binning you can really see the outer halo of stars VERY well.

I'm fully amazed at how good the Canon 60Da really is!  I've got some improvements to make, re: darks, flats, oag, mpcc etc...but this killer new DSLR might make me rethink my LRGB filter setup for the CCD.

Come chat at me about science and astronomy! - Life is a balance of molding to the world and shaping it to your ideals
Introduction
Loving husband, proud father, computer geek, astro freak, music lover, sports nut and general fun-loving guy

I think I'm the kind of person who doesn't like strong opinions.  It doesn't matter if I agree with your opinion or not, it's not factual, it never will be 100% factual and I don't care for it.  That's probably why I hate politics.

I've always loved facts, provable facts of nature and things concerning science.

Over time, I found that most facts are mostly reference and it was the creation of and discovery of new things that intrigued me.

"A good friend once told me you are our memory

their echoes are reaching my ears
