Will you be expecting Santa to deliver a cute little puppy or kitten in your stocking this year? What about a baby snow owl instead? This little fellow loves head rubs!

"Owl I Want For Christmas" is the second Christmas ornament in the Micely Creations collection. It is available, along with several Village designs, on the updated Micely.com website, now up!

The Village will have several new introductions for the last week of month.  One of those designs is a collector's request.

The second Micely Creations ornament will be released and it has roots in the Village!

I'm also very excited to introduce a "reimagining" of an older ornament for an entirely new season!  This design was Marc's idea and it may be my all-time favorite!

The mice are requesting photos of your own Micely Village!  Between now and Monday, November 3, 2014, take a photo of your Micely display and post here, to our Facebook page or email it to Mayor@Micely.com. As a thanks for doing that you will receive the 4th in series of "A Micely Thank You," which has yet to be unveiled!

Please note, you may submit multiple photos, but the ornament is limited to one per person.  Start snapping!

The Village of Micely's Third Birthday Celebration Ornament.

I sculpted this little ornament shortly after reading an old article about former Hallmark Keepsake artist Donna Lee. In the interview she said one of her favorite sculpting tools was a straight pin. I’ve used many tools, but I’ve never sculpted with one of those, so I thought I would try it! The process had a bit of a learning curve but was really fun!

The result is an homage to one of Micely’s first ornaments, Serene Wonder. However this time she is presented as a doll that a little mouselet might find under her tree on Christmas morning. She’s only about 3/4-inches tall.

This miniature ornament will be available in the General Store soon… Would you like to see more mice toys?

We hope you've had a wonderful Fourth of July! The mice are now getting settled in on their blankets and chairs waiting for the fireworks to start shortly. It should be a beautiful end to a fun day!

Here's the new costume for the Village’s Fourth of July presentation!

Miss Liberty 1886!

When the Statue of Liberty was built in 1886, she didn’t have the green patina we know today.  Those who visited her in her early days saw a copper-brown statue.  It was until the early 1900's that she weathered enough to be green.

Miss Liberty is a gift to anyone who spends $25 or more in the Micely General Store this month, July 2014.  We will also be giving away 3 this week.   Check back tomorrow for your first chance to win!

I've heard the mice have a new costume for the annual Fourth of July presentation. It's supposed to look more historic.

I wonder what it could be! The mice promised to unveil it tomorrow...

The new "Taking The Plunge" ornament is temporarily unavailable. We hope to have it back in the store in a few weeks.

Not only is there a full moon tonight in the Village, but it's also Friday the 13th! The weather report for this evening is clear with one stray lightening storm near the very southern tip of the Village. Not much there, except that old, creaky house on top of the hill. We're not sure a mouse even lives there anymore. Have a mice day!
