In my previous blog post I talked about the three core parts of Angular 2: components, dependency injection, and property bindings. In this blog post I will talk about Angular 2 template syntax. Property and Event Bindings Property and event bindings are the public API of a directive. Data flows into a directive via property bindings and flows out via event bindings. Property Bindings Say we have a component that renders a Todo...

"Everyone's entitled to their opinion. But you know what you're not entitled to? You're not entitled to your own facts."
Vaccine-autism claims, "Frankenfood" bans, the herbal cure craze: All point to the public's growing fear (and, often, outright denial) of science and reason, says Michael Specter. He warns the trend spells disaster for human progress.

"Eeni Meeni Miini Moh" is pretty close ;-) I listen to the guts whether they tell me who's information is probably more biased.
What I didn't like is he tries to convince people to believe everything just because it uses the label "science".

Worth watching!

Was going to about lessons I want my son to absorb from literature...but this guy expresses better than I ever could http://www.ted.com/talks/colin_stokes_how_movies_teach_manhood
When Colin Stokes’ 3-year-old son caught a glimpse of "Star Wars," he was instantly obsessed. But what messages did he absorb from the sci-fi classic? Stokes asks for more movies that send positive messages to boys: that cooperation is heroic, and respecting women is as manly as defeating the villain.

If you have kids, 'a better way to apologize' http://www.cuppacocoa.com/a-better-way-to-say-sorry/. Good for adults too. :)
"Say sorry to your brother." "But he's the one who--" "Say it!" you insist, an edge of warning in your voice. He huffs, rolls his eyes to the side and says flatly, "Sorry." "Say it like you mean it...

How our minds changed dramatically over the last century -- and made you smarter than your grandparents:
It's called the "Flynn effect" — the fact that each generation scores higher on an IQ test than the generation before it. Are we actually getting smarter, or just thinking differently? In this fast-paced spin through the cognitive history of the 20th century, moral philosopher James Flynn suggests that changes in the way we think have had surprising (and not always positive) consequences.

Prev · No-Rules NASCAR. If you stripped away all the rules of car racing and had a contest which was simply to get a human being around a track 200 times as fast as possible, what strategy would win? Let's say the racer has to survive. Hunter Freyer. The best you'll be able to do is about 90 ...

I had similar experience. I wanted to pair my HomeLink with the garage Door. The guy came, and kept complaining about Genie, and wanted to charge me $500 to install his. All I wanted was help in pairing my remotes. He wanted to change me for "advise" $50. Had to argue with him for a bit before he left without charging me.

Michi spoils you. It is now the only sushi we eat. Everything else just does not compare. What makes it special is the presentation and the amazing combinations of sauces sprinkled on your sushi.
