Today, M-Files employees gave back to the community by volunteering at the North Texas Food Bank. This top-ranked non-profit relief organization provides access to more than 170,000 meals each day for hungry children, seniors and families across a 13 county service area. Thanks to all those who participated in helping to make available over 15,000 meals! A fun and rewarding experience was had by all. #92millionmeals goo.gl/kUWAC8

Dark data is information that is rarely or never analyzed or used to make intelligent business decisions. Instead, it gets buried within a vast and unorganized collection of other data assets. It's often referred to as "data exhaust," but there can be a lot of value in this overlooked info.

With the ability to see and harness dark data, companies can make better use of all of their data. At a time when the volume of information continues to skyrocket, it makes sense to pay attention to dark data. Since a portion of dark data can still provide value, there are positive incentives for making it broadly visible.
