Happy Engineer's Day
813 years ago, on this day, a man was born, he was named after his father, Muhammad ibn Hasan Tūsī (better known as Nasīr al-Dīn Tūsī or simply Tusi in the West).
He was apparently born into a Shī‘ah family and there are some pages on the Internet that say he was Muslim but when we study his works, he clearly shows us that he was an evolutionist; He was one of the first people in the world that studied about anthropoid apes in the west Sudan and explained how humans evolved from advanced animals.
Tusi was a Persian polymath and prolific writer, an architect, astronomer, biologist, chemist, mathematician, philosopher, physician, physicist, scientist and an evolutionist.
In Iran Engineer's day refers to his birthday.
Happy birthday Tusi and again Happy Engineer's day to you my geek friend. \m/
