A white rhino is among the 150 species at this 70-acre zoo, with giraffe petting & a meerkat house.- Google
"Loved feeding a juvenile giraffe, who adored having his head scratched."
"I don't understand the reviews about small enclosures and animals in danger."

We had a wonderful day at this zoo. The park was very clean, the animals and their pens were very well kept. The variety of animals was fantastic considering this is a relatively small zoo. I enjoyed my visit very much and will go again. Oh and the bathrooms were CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!! My children had a wonderful time ages 7-13. Adults were happy too because everything was very affordable. We loved the train safari because it gave us a sitting break and the ski lift was just plain cool. We will go back to do the zip lines next year. Is there any connection with this place and what used to be Benson's Farm in NH?

I found more animals here than at Washington zoo. It is cleaner more informative and supported by admission price and donations not the government. They have a live nativity at Christmas with "Mary, Joseph and babyJesus. Choirs sing, all in all a wonderful experience. Free of charge. Their gift to the community.

Best zoo I've been to because it was not crowded, and had every animal I can think of (besides a wombat but they probably have that too). The animals all seem very well taken care of and a majority of them had ample space to roam around. If I had to say something bad, it would be that the windows were not kept very clean and there wasn't a variety of food. Pack a lunch and bring some water!

Starting with the positive. This visit takes place in late May. Babies every where!!! Cheetahs, camel, hogs, giraffe. Best if you arrive at opening cooler, active animals, and less crowds. The highlight you get to feed the animals. Okay now the not so positive but not horrible comments. This is a zoo that truly caters to young children not really to adults. Unless you have children the zoo will only take a couple of hours not an all day location. When you pull in to the zoo it feels like you are entering a private home, a little weird. I highly suggest you bring hand wipes or sanitizer because not a single sanitizer dispenser was filled. So after you feed the cute animals you truly need a wash.

This zoo was awesome! The animals were very interesting and looked like they were taken care of very well. It had rained the night before and was still raining a bit on that day so some of the enclosures were a bit muddy like the rhinoceros and tortoise enclosures, but you can't control the weather. It was very nice being able to toss some of the pellets to the emus, having the giraffe eat right out of your hand, and having a budgerigar perch right on your shoulder. It was all very great. But you MUST go and check out the Red River Hogs. Very peculiar looking creatures they are!

I love visiting the zoo! They have a remarkable variety of animals in very natural habitats. The animals must be happy there based on the babies we see every time we go!
