Love the pay-per mile monthly statements as well as the friendly customer service; however, if you pay for road side assistance, please do not expect someone to arrive on time. I was stranded last night for 12 hours and it's because 3 different Towing companies that Metromile did business with (they were all 1-star rating 24-hour towing companies) did not show and repeatedly said "we will be there in 30 minutes". After awhile, all3 towing companies stop answering my phone calls. If you are looking for a low monthly payment for insurance, Metromile is perfect. However, when you really need them to deliver their services there will be a delay or they may not be able to send anyone at all. I have used their road side assistance in the past; however, the guy was only 30 minutes late. That's reasonably acceptable; however, but to not show at all is utterly ridiculous! Metromile needs to improve on the people they partner up with. Instead of dealing with shady 1-star companies, they should look into doing business with established institutions with a good reputation. This was my issue last night. I literally was 5 minutes away from a towing company with a great reputation; however, since Metromile is not partnered with them, they were unable to reach out to them to provide me with service. Either do better and expand your partnership with credible businesses or eliminate road side assistance all together, but ultimately I was not provided with any service.

I put less than 15k miles a year on two cars and after a recent hike on my traditional premium I decided to give Metromile a try. Given the low miles and my clean driving record I felt I don't want to subsidize the premiums of the high risk and/or high mileage drivers. This is my second month in and I have paid 30% less than before. I also appreciate the all online business model very much and the fact that I can follow up what has been charged anytime as the billing period goes by. All my inquiries have been promptly and thoroughly answered.

I love Metromile! I feel lucky to live in a city where it is available. It saves me around $500/year on insurance. It's perfect for someone who wants to have a car, but drives very little. I also love the app and how convenient all the automated information they provide is about my trips and miles driven. The customer service has also been exceptional the one time I needed it. Have not had any issues and I highly recommend it!

I LOVE METROMILE!!!! NOT ONLY DOES IT SAVE ME MONEY, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWESOME. A REAL PERSON ANSWERS THE PHONE EVERY TIME. ALL ISSUES I'VE HAD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED QUICKLY AND AT NO EXTRA EXPENSE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND METROMILE TO ALL MY FRIENDS!!!

First it's important to remember that I haven't needed to file a claim through Metromile. My experience is purely with the purchasing/proof of insurance side. It's been great so far. I find the high-touch of a startup and high visibility/transparency of their product to be refreshing compared to conventional insurance. Price: I actually drive fairly normal distances, but I also have 2 cars. Metromile allows me to save hundreds per year simply because I can't drive both cars simultaneously. I also agree with their pricing simply on principle. Data: I love the app and the visibility it provides me. I hope that they are able to integrate more into other things you do with your car. I even love that I can make sure my car is still where I parked it last, up to the minute. It's the simple things. We'll see what happens if and when I have to file a claim, but it is reassuring that MM will soon begin underwriting their own policies and I'm confident it will also be a positive experience as long as they can staff it with enough experienced people, and have practical policies.

I LOVE Metromile: Metromile is a great value, great service, great idea. Metromile saves me approximately $800 a year in insurance premiums. I'm an infrequent driver who used to pay a $1,032 annual insurance premium to keep my car parked in a secure parking garage. In the 7 months I've had Metromile, which offers the same coverage as my former insurer, my premiums have ranged from $17 to $21 a month. If your car spends more time in your garage than on the road, you need Metromile.

Honestly this is the best insurance company I've been with. I've had Erie Insurance with only liability and paid $90 and I put down $180 and I hardly drove. With Metromile I only pay $28 a month and only 5.8 cents a mile. I save monthly like $35. I'm never turning back

Hi, I can only say "I love it". To pay-per-mile option is perfect for me, as I do not drive a lot. What else I like is constant and easy access to my account on line. Every day and moment I can check how much I owe to Metromile, also I like to take a look at my driving map. Isn't that wonderful? Yes, it is. Thank you very much!
