April is National Cancer Control Month! The month was created to bring awareness to the things we can do to take our health into our own hands. Eating right, being active, and having regular check-ups can all help reduce our risk of certain cancers.

The Fact Act aims to silence the victims of asbestos exposure. The bill would require publicly disclosing personal information about the people seeking compensation, and likely deter some victims from filing claims at all. Get the FACTs: http://ow.ly/LlDWT

The #1 Mesothelioma Cancer Resource
Introduction
The Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance at Mesothelioma.com is dedicated to increasing awareness of mesothelioma cancer, a disease caused by asbestos exposure. The Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance is the largest web-based mesothelioma community of its kind, offering a place to share current clinical information, new treatment options for asbestos cancer patients, and personal journeys with mesothelioma.

Since 1996, we have been educating the public about the risks of asbestos exposure. Those who have worked in certain occupations, including miners, auto repair technicians, firefighters, shipyard laborers and military veterans are at an increased risk of developing mesothelioma cancer.

With the creation of the Mesothelioma Community Resource Network, we have renewed our commitment to connect these mesothelioma cancer patients and their families to a wealth of vital resources, including mesothelioma doctors, complementary therapies, financial planning resources, and more.
