The Gift that keeps giving for months...
I love the idea of gift subscriptions. The gift that keeps on giving! I’ve listed gift subscription ideas to suit everyone from the kids to the grown-ups and even the family pup. Most subscriptions allow you to cancel at any time and many offer discounts if you purchase an entire year of service so be (…)

Panda update rolling out

Earlier this week, we started a slow rollout of an improved Panda algorithm, and we expect to have everything done sometime next week.

Based on user (and webmaster!) feedback, we’ve been able to discover a few more signals to help Panda identify low-quality content more precisely. This results in a greater diversity of high-quality small- and medium-sized sites ranking higher, which is nice.

Depending on the locale, around 3-5% of queries are affected.

My son (he's 19) has been told often that he looks like a young +David Tennant which is another reason I favour #10 +Sonia Simone. People keep suggesting he get into doing cosplay lol

With the weather growing colder and winds picking up, more and more people on the streets don scarves. For some, this time of year is the only occasion on which scarves, regarded as necessary evils, are worn. #163897104 / Personally, I wear them almost all year round (including summer). If you asked my friends, (…)

Basic Information
In a relationship
I'm a Renaissance Woman - I can install linux, read a book, write a review of it, plan, prepare & serve a meal for 20 all in the same 24 hour period. I have. In heels.
I like to say I'm a Renaissance Woman. What the really means is I'm something of a Jill of All Trades. You can also read that as "bores easily".

I've worked over the years in the fashion industry (I have a diploma in fashion design from a local college), desktop publishing, web site design, and a writer.

I've managed a retail chain store and I've been a mystery shopper. I've worked with brands such as Walmart and P&G in the social media world and I've dipped my toe into the world of information marketing, social marketing, and affiliate marketing.

I'm never happy with the "out of the box" with anything so I've spent countless hours over the years tweaking & modifying my computers (both Windows and Linux based) and redesigning blogs. Never happy with the standard - I love to customize everything I do - make it uniquely mine. (This applies to everything - recipes, patterns, designs, computers, experiences of all kinds.)

I'm an information junkie, avid reader of books, blogs, news and even the toothpaste box.  I'm an early adopter and an early riser.

I have a pair of cats known collectively as the Kittiots whom I alternately complain about or photograph. I also have two kids, "Girlchild" and "Boychild" who are now, thankfully, officially adults (although they still live with me).

I can get obsessive about new passions... until the next one comes along that is...
Bragging rights
Successfully raised two kids two adulthood without losing my sanity (or theirs).
