Love the atsmophere. The September Wonder apples are my favorite. Great place just to shop for gifts of every occasion and to bring friends and family who are visiting our little place in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains.
We've been traveling here and buying the best apples for maybe 20 years. The fried pies are still the best. They have been very successful and grown the place tremendously. The bad news is large crowds during fall weekends.
Family members own a cabin in Blue Ridge and every time we visit my wife and I make a point of visiting Mercier Orchards for their apple cinnamon bread, their caramel apples, their local honey, and their selection of apple ciders and wines that are available any day of the week since they are made at the orchards.
We will be having strawberry u-pick tomorrow, Friday, May 22nd through Monday (Memorial Day) So, if you're looking for something fun to do this Memorial Day weekend, come and visit with us and pick some fresh strawberries!! subject to weather and availability Do call first if you are making a long drive to ensure that everything is looking good for the berries. :)
First round of U-Pick starts today! Will go from today, May 6th until Sunday, May 10th (Weather and availability permitting) And there will be more dates to follow, so keep your eyes peeled. We have a lot of berries guys, Stop by and help us pick em'!
Hoping to be able to offer cherry u-pick this upcoming Saturday, May 30th! Quantities are quite limited, and whether or not we have it depends a lot on the weather from here on out. So, please do call ahead before making the trip to make sure we are in fact having cherry u-pick! Will still offer tractor rides that day (weather depending) even if we can't provide u-pick.
