Retrieve Accounts by Activity and Date Range with Timeline Dashboard

With the Timeline Dashboard you can retrieve member activity by date, type and tag. The new Show Accounts button will allow you to then pull up all accounts shown on the Timeline Dashboard.

This will allow you to pull up accounts by activity type. For example, if you set the date range and filter by type "Event Activity", clicking on Show Accounts will allow you to pull up all accounts who registered or attended events within a certain date range.

Improved Spam Protection for Your Members

When a non member sends a message to someone listed in your directory they will be required to click a link in a confirmation email before the message is sent. This will reduce the possibility of spam being sent to your members from your directory.

Create Charges from the Timeline

Charge a credit card for any payment from a member's Timeline. If the member is on automatic recurring billing you can charge their credit card on file*, or you can also enter the credit card information directly.

To charge a card go to the member's Timeline and click "Create New Entry". Under Action, you can select "Charge amount to card on file" (if the member is on automatic recurring billing with a compatible payment gateway) or "Charge amount to a credit card".

* Only possible with Authorize.net (requires Customer Information Manager) and Stripe. Paypal Pro does not offer a method to create such charges.

Charge and Record Renewals from Timeline

You can now record and charge a credit card when renewing a member manually from the Timeline, when a member provides their credit card information to you over the phone or in person.

Click on "Record Renewal" or "Renew" from the member's account*, then select "Charge amount to a credit card" under Action. You will then be able to enter the credit card to charge for the renewal amount.

* Note that you cannot record renewals manually for members on automatic recurring billing.

Upgrade/Downgrade Activity for Membership Dashboard

In addition to New Members, Renewals, Upcoming Renewals and Past Due, the Membership Dashboard will now also display Upgrades/Downgrades. This box will let you quickly see which members upgraded or downgraded their accounts within the selected date range. You can also click on the "Upgrades/Downgrades" title to pull up the members in that box for further action.

Here's what you'll find in each section of the new Dashboard:

Stats

Breakdown of your accounts by account status, membership level, add-ons and labels. Use this to help identify any issues with your membership data, such as accounts with no assigned membership level or renewal date. Click on any line to pull up accounts by status, level, add-ons or labels.

Financial

Your revenue information by date range and the ability to export financial transaction data to CSV, QuickBooks or Xero.

Membership

Your new, renewed and lapsed members by date range. The New Members box now displays full date/time as well as the signup notes. Click on any of the titles (New Members, Renewals, Upcoming Renewals or Past Due) to pull up all accounts in that box.

Events

Activity in your events by date range. Now you can see sales amount for each registration, as well as any unpaid registrations (amounts in red). Click on any event title to go straight to the event's dashboard.

Forms

Activity in your forms/carts/donations by date range, with sales amount for each checkout. Click on any form title to go straight to the event's dashboard.

Timeline

Timeline activity by date range. You can now search/filter by transaction type and/or tags.

View/Print/Email Receipts

Administrators can now view, print and email payment receipts. From the member's account Timeline, click on any payment and select "View/Print" or "Email". Emails can be sent to the member or to any email address as needed.

Members can also print and email payment receipts themselves through a Payment/Invoice History box by clicking on the view icon next to the payment.

Record Renewal Button

The record renewal button makes it easier ​to record renewals for members paying by check and cash. Click on the Record Renewal button on the member's timeline and select the appropriate renewal rate, then verify the new membership expiration date and payment amount (which can be adjusted as necessary). You can also trigger an email receipt by enabling the "Email a receipt" option.

Import Membership Add-ons

You can now import Membership Add-ons when you import or bulk update your members. For directions on importing please see MembershipWorks > Help > Membership > Importing Members.

Note that you cannot update membership add-ons for a member who is on automatic recurring billing.

Link/Re-Link Event Registrations/Form Checkouts to an Account

Sometimes an event registration/form checkout is not linked correctly to a member's account because the wrong email address was used during checkout, or because there are multiple accounts with the same email address. Admins can now link/re-link the registration/checkout to the correct account.​

From the event/form dashboard, click on "Edit/Refund" or "View/Void", then select "Link registration to account" to update the account associated with the event/form entry.
