Great idea.  It looks so soft!

Pulling one out of the archives in the interest of catching up. One of my favorite pics of George. (Also, I promise this won't turn into 52 weeks of my dog!)

Rain practically halts the traffic in this city.  It's often frustrating to be stuck in a bus going nowhere, but less so when you happen to have your camera and lights abound.

Extremely salty streets.  Disproportionate to the amount of snow and ice we've actually received.

When I'm stuck at the office later than I'd like, pictures like this keep me smiling.

Beautiful shot with lovely wavy reflections.
Yes, it's OK to be as late as you like and it's also OK to skip a week. I skipped quite a few last year when I got busy.

George loves to lie in the sun shining onto the hard wood floors, even if I move his bed into the light.

Constantly trying new ways to get good photos of my dog, George.  He's suspicious of the sound of the shutter, but this time I found that if my face is not behind the camera but I use my remote shutter instead, he's more likely to look into the lens.

Beautiful iron fence around the perimeter of Lafayette Square in DC.

(Most photos will be around my workplace during my six weeks of non-stop budget fun!  It will be a good challenge to find the beauty in the midst of stress.)

George and I went to the dog park today.  While chasing dogs 5 times his size, he took breaks to pop over and -- judging by this smile on his face -- tell me how much fun he was having.
