How to Make It Better Than Arby's: Easy Waldorf Chicken Salad #Recipe #whatsforlunch #makeitbetter #makeitforless #whatsforlunch

A few years ago, I attempted to make a “Paleo” Chicken Salad. I made it, but modified based on what I had on hand. That made it NOT Paleo, but it was DAYUM-good. I thought I had the recipe saved to my phone, but when I went to the grocery store this…
Here's how you can make Arby's Chicken Salad better at home for a fraction of the price. #makeitbetter #makeitforless

How to Create an Easy Taste of the Mediterranean
keepingupwiththevines.com

Create an appetizer spread or meal with a taste of the Mediterranean using Ines Rosales tortas and no-cook ingredients.

For the past two years I've lived between this Publix and a competing grocer. A lot of times, I shopped at this Publix purely out of convenience. It was on the way home from work versus just a little bit past home. I'm glad I did. I can't say that I've EVER had a bad experience at any Publix, but I've spent enough time at this one to say that shopping at Publix truly is a pleasure. Today, they knocked my socks off and I felt it was time to finally give them some kudos. I ordered a cake over the phone to pick up around 5:30 p.m. The woman who took my order marked it that I will pick it up by 6:00 p.m. As it turns out, it took me a little longer to get there than I expected. When I arrived, another woman helped me, but when she called out my name, the woman I spoke with on the phone said "Hi, Melissa!" like she knew me. I recognized her voice. That felt really nice! Then, not even 20 feet away, I was greeted by what appeared to be the Store Manager, who asked if he could help me find anything today. He was genuine! I went under the radar through most of the rest of the store as I breezed through, but in the Meat Department, the gentlemen restocking the meat politely excused themselves as I neared the area they were stocking. I've had so many other great experiences at Publix at Tree Summit Village. I wish I could recount them all. The prices aren't always the lowest, but I try to shop sales, so I make things work in my favor. This Publix is also a bit smaller than most of the others I've been to, but they always seem to have what I need. I just really feel at home here! Needless to say, it's about time I send my praises to their Corporate office, but I did want to share my thoughts for consumers to see, as well!

It's very hard to find authentic polish food in Metro Atlanta anymore, so when I heard about New Polish Restaurant, I had to try it. My and my family went when it was fairly new and we've only been once. I enjoyed the authentic flavors, but the buffet wasn't poppin'. The food was cold when we arrived, however the owner whipped up fresh, hot batches of food for us because it was VERY slow. I appreciated that and got a better taste for the food this way. I can honestly say that unless you've got a Golden Corral crowd, despite the fact that organic and non-GMO ingredients are used, the buffet idea needs to be replaced. Yet still, I will eat there again. I hear it's busier during lunch on the weekdays. At the end of the visit, I got to speak with the owner at length about her previous ventures in the Polish restaurant industry in Gwinnett / Metro Atlanta. I do firmly believe Krystyna has a firm grasp of the food itself, as well as the business aspect. Plus, she's a sweetheart. I just wish they'd move to a full service restaurant. I do like the no soda and no tipping policy. It sure does make it easy to visit the restaurant. If New Polish Restaurant wishes to continue the buffet concept, they NEED you to visit. While you're there, ask for Krystyna and be sure to share your feedback. As far as my faves, I loved the pierogies (always a fave of mine), potato pancakes and Golabki. I love the fact that kids eat free with the purchase of an adult buffet. I encourage you to visit to at least give it a shot and be sure to leave feedback!! Krystyna is very open to your ideas!

My second visit to Spiced Right in Suwanee was after a year or so. The second time around, I was not impressed at all. I love the corn souffle and I normally love the hashbrown casserole, but I don't remember it being chunks of potatoes (like hot potato salad or something). The meat was okay and the service was blah. I won't be going back. Thank goodness I got 50% off with Scoutmob.

Great pizza and they deliver in the evening! I found Gordo's through Foodspotting/Scoutmob and got a free slice. Ever since trying the slice, we've had Gordo's picked up and delivered a handful or so of times. I give it a 4 because it's not my favorite, but it's #2 on my list in Georgia. I've scoured pizza joints all over Metro Atlanta so for it to be my #2 (both of my faves are in Gwinnett), means a lot for those who know me. I'm a foodie! It's worth a drive across town to try them out! The Garlic knots are amazing. The prices are reasonable. You get what you pay for. I've only tried the pizza, but plan to try some of their other dishes in the future, especially for lunch. I'm close enough to them to visit on lunch to snag their lunch specials.
