Many thanks to Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL) for co-sponsoring #HR1187! You can ask your congressional representative to get involved at https://buildquorum.com/actions/3087

Clinical trials at several locations for VLY-686 (Tradipitant). It is a "Neurokinin 1 Antagonist," thought to have antiemetic properties.

GASTROPARESIS: STATE PROCLAMATIONS UPDATE

I have had quite a few people ask about state proclamations, so I am going to give the rundown here. We have had 24 approved and/or received. We have another 17 submitted and awaiting a decision. Here is a list of those that have been approved and/or received:

ALABAMA
ARIZONA
ARKANSAS
COLORADO
FLORIDA
IDAHO
ILLINOIS
INDIANA
IOWA
KANSAS
KENTUCKY
LOUISIANA
MINNESOTA
MISSISSIPPI
NEBRASKA
NEW MEXICO
PENNSYLVANIA
SOUTH CAROLINA
TENNESSEE
TEXAS
UTAH
VERMONT
WASHINGTON
WISCONSIN

The following have been submitted and are still awaiting a decision:

CALIFORNIA
CONNECTICUT
DELAWARE
MARYLAND
MASSACHUSETTS
MICHIGAN
MISSOURI
NEVADA
NEW HAMPSHIRE
NEW JERSEY
NEW YORK
NORTH CAROLINA
OHIO
OKLAHOMA
OREGON
VIRGINIA
WEST VIRGINIA

This is a list of states which still need to be submitted. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

ALASKA
GEORGIA
HAWAII
MAINE
MONTANA
NORTH DAKOTA
RHODE ISLAND
SOUTH DAKOTA
WYOMING

STATE PROCLAMATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED EVERY YEAR. Last year, we were able to secure proclamations in 23 states. I would love to see AN AWARENESS PROCLAMATION PASSED in EVERY state this year! It is not difficult to request one, but I cannot do it myself because you must be a resident of the state to request a proclamation.

We work on these in our advocacy group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/Gastroparesis.FightingForChange/. If you join there, you will find instructions, and we will help you through the process.
We also keep a list in our group that we update regularly to reflect new information. We post photos of all the proclamations that have been received on our community page at
https://www.facebook.com/Gastroparesis.FightingForChange.P…/ as well.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP!
