"For Love and Laundry" is a short story from my time in the hotel industry about how a chance encounter with a guest caused me to be thankful for finding laundry on the floor 15 years later.

I love the way the support arches up and wraps around the structure. The Amgen Helix bridge has got to be the coolest pedestrian bridge in all of Seattle.

The new Shake Shake Shake in Tacoma lived up to its name. They offer a long list of shake flavors. I followed the advice of their sign and enjoyed a classic burger with shoestring sweet potato fries followed by a miso butterscotch shake. When I took my first sip of that shake I though "oh salty sweet deliciousness where have you been all my life?" Two thumbs up for their food, bright vibe and pleasant picnic area.

I've been to the Palouse many times over the years and the beauty of those rolling hills never gets old. This pic makes me want to hug a farmer. Why do I feel like farmers are endangered species?

On my way to an early morning meeting I caught a glimpse of fishermen already having a congress of their own. Photo taken with my iPhone 4S at Dash Point near Tacoma, WA.
