Hey Everyone!
This will just take a moment.
This is for the Environment protection NGO, called Greenpeace which is working very hard to  save the Mahan Forest in Madhya Pradesh, India. One of the oldest Sal forests of Asia - Mahan, Madhya Pradesh are facing the threat of an absolute wipe out. Giant corporations are after the coal reserves below these forests.

Over 14,190 lives and livelihoods are dependent on the Mahan forests, Their culture, community and lives are intertwined with the forests that the corporations threaten to destroy. Displacement from their natural habitat is going to be devastating for the indigenous community. Our forests, our nature and our people need your support NOW. We cannot let powerful companies wipe out the existence of a community.
#ForestBachaoRakhiPahuchao
Raksha bandhan is an Indian Festival in which a sister ties a sacred thread, Rakhi, on her brother's hand and the brother pledges to protect her. Rakhi is emblazoned with a sister's love and affection for her brother.
This Raksha Bandhan, tie a Rakhi to your unsung protectors, the trees that save you from the perils of Global Warming and provide you with oxygen.
The Mahan Forests in Madhya Pradesh are being endangered because a corporate funded coal mine  project threatens to destroy 5 lakh trees and the livelihoods of 50,000 people.
If you could fill in the details of the form, a Rakhi with your name will be tied on the trees of Mahan, hence showing your support against the deforestation that will take place.
This is the least we can do to protect those trees!!
