Let’s just say Rob Thomas definitely has a type – short, smart, spunky and, of course, blonde. We can’t blame him though; after all, who didn’t fall madly in love with Veronica Mars? Oh how we miss our too-awesome-to-handle crime-sleuthing teenager, whose absence has been felt by the TV collective for years. And then something … Continue reading Veronica Mars is Back…Kind Of. My review of The Walking Dead Season One Video Game! Awesome game by +TelltaleGames #WalkingDead
0000 Telltale Games is known for their choose-your-own-adventure, point and click style games. Telltale brings storytelling to the forefront, abandoning common video game cliché for authentic narrative. Games like The Walking Dead risk a lot. It doesn’t look like what’s popular. Finally, my blog post about +Fugu Truck! Long overdue but worth the wait! Tasty stuff. #foodtrucks

Abandon hope all ye who enter here. Dirty, dingy, very unpleasant. Unidentified mattress stains and hairs. Avoid at all costs - do Quality Inn down the road instead.

Got my car inspected here at the attached mechanic auto place. Was in and out in 10 minutes. They also have cheap gas and full service. Pretty sweet!

Dr. Vasilakis and the entire office staff are INCREDIBLY kind, friendly, and considerate. My first visit was a cleaning, and for the first time, the procedures, cleaning process, and x-rays were all explained and shown to me. No one has ever done this for me before at a dentist office, and it was such a lovely change of pace to understand what was going on. I ended up needing some cavities filled, and Dr. Vasilakis was very thoughtful, patient, and encouraging. I was pretty nervous, but Maria was very calming and gave me plenty of Novocain, so I didn't feel a thing! She also made sure to keep asking me if I was OK or if I felt anything, which I thought was very considerate. She is by far the best dentist I've ever visited and probably the best I'll ever have. I can't recommend her enough! If you are looking for a new dentist, look no further!

Food was hilariously terrible. Tough steak tips were slathered in a sickeningly sweet teriyaki sauce, salmon was fishy, mashed potatoes were terrible, and even the generic rice pilaf was covered in so much salt that it was inedible. After sending the first two dishes back we had to just grin and bare it. The only food item enjoyable was the broccoli, which was described as a "mixed vegetable," but honestly, I didn't care because it was the only semi-decent offering. I wasn't even that made because it was so funny how terrible everything was. I'll be shocked if this place lasts the year.

The breakfast sandwiches are FANTASTIC, and super cheap! Never had a problem with the coffee either. The owner is incredibly nice and friendly, she makes being their a lovely experience. The only thing I wish was better is the ambiance. The florescent lights don't make you want to sit and stay for too long. I'd love to see a window bar put up like they do in other coffee houses to allow for more seating and encourage people to stay and do work.

Fantastic food, but service can be pretty slow, especially on a busy Sunday morning. Try the banana/walnut pancakes (sometimes I add chocolate chips too) - they are HUGE and delicious! As long as you aren't in a rush, it's worth the wait :)
