Organic vineyards in and around Bologna.

Relaxing in Bologna's serene countryside: http://bit.ly/1OfWQ6T
Just outside Bologna's city center is Opera02, a completely organic property that produces wine and Balsamic vinegar. All eight rooms overlook the vineyard.

Updates from my Northern Italy trip!

Beautiful bikes of Italy and the fashionable locals they belong to!
The Emilia-Romagna region is one of Italy's most culturally stunning. Tour a local mosaics studio or dine at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Cesenatico.

Things I've learned after recently moving to the west coast.

As much as New York inspires me, I was getting tired of the gritty warehouses that dominate Bushwick and much of Brooklyn in general. That intensified in late November when the cold weather started to kick in. The weirdest thing about Mountain View (where we are currently based) is that it’s literally warm and sunny every day. I’m still getting used to waking up to sunshine and birds chirping outside my window but I’m not complaining. To be honest, I needed this more than even I knew. While it does feel odd to be wearing a t-shirt and jeans in late February, I’m really enjoying all the quality time I’m having with the great outdoors. Nature has healing powers and it’s healing me. Romantic spots in Pondicherry.

Pondicherry or Pondy (as it is affectionately called) is a little French town in the Indian Union Territory, Pondicherry. The town has a huge influence of French architecture and culture that is reflected throughout the city. It is often called “The French Riviera of the East.” Pondy is thus a splendid amalgamation of South Indian and French culture along with a hint of Dutch, Portuguese and British elements. Situated alongside the Bay of Bengal, Pondy has a few stunning beaches with a wide range of water sports activities for the adventurous soul. Pondy is home to the highly esteemed Sri Aurobindo Ashram and hence is a popular spiritual retreat. More here: http://bit.ly/1BQWck6 (Image: rhodesj, CC BY 2.0)
