I just don't like the way he's often presented as appearing more virtuous than he was because he was ruthless in exploiting the people who helped his success.
If you want a story of inspiring leadership study Earnest Shackleton or Richard Noble.

Helen Wolfe: Well I don't agree. He has matured a lot, and is beginning to take
responsibility for what appears on Facebook and monitoring it better.
Remember that he was truly a kid when he started Facebook, and didn't have
the maturity to predict how it could be used by idiotic and malicious
people. I think that as he gets older, you'll see him become a responsible
philanthropist who could change the world, the way that Bill and Melinda
Gates have. Steve Jobs lived his whole life being a self serving prick.

I've never used Facebook and don't intend to. But I know many people who do
use it to keep in touch with family and friends who live far away.

We'll just have to agree to disagree.

Terry Clark: I'll probably get a lot of reaction for this but Steve Jobs was not basically good. He set up a vile conspiracy with other tech companies to artificially depress the earnings of technical workers by agreeing not to hire each other's staff. It's fashionable to quote Jobs like he was some kind of amazing inspiring leader but he exploited people ruthlessly including his old buddy Steve Wozniac.

have proven that most of his work does not represent the reality observed
in the field. He was mostly a crook and a lot of people know by now. Read
again my previous post as it's very simple to figure out what i mean.
