As I post this, I have been at this restaurant for over 1 1/2 hours and I still don't have my food. Unbelievable! The absolute worst service.

I went to Mediterrano not too long ago with a couple of friends. This restaurant has a greco-roman themed menu with some world fusion and sometimes very interesting twists. It has a nice atmosphere, not too loud not too quiet, dim lighting and very friendly staff. We were seated promptly (without reservation) and the waitress took care of us right away. Most of these reviews, unfortunately, are directed to bad service; either slow, unfriendly, mediocre, etc. I cannot say that that was the case for us, maybe we had a good day, but from what I saw in other tables everything seemed to run smoothly. Anyway, I'm here to write about how the food tasted the moment it got to the table and not when it got to the table. We order a couple of appetizers, and let me just say, they were really good. I can't think of what the names were, but bacon wrapped dates (yes, dates) were surprisingly really good. Great fusion of flavors that yet mark a distinction between the sweet and the salty. A portobello and halloumi cheese appetizer and and octopus salad, although not as awesome, they were still very delectable. We had a gorgonzola salad, that was pretty good, and the main course roast rack of lamb, was beautifully cooked (chef's suggestion) and tasty. Presentation was also very good. The desserts, were a little too sweet for my taste, but yet pretty decent. Overall, the place is a little pricey, but if you're looking for good food and are willing to wait and dont care about the price then I'd recommend it and it's totally worth it (especially the dishes that I just described), otherwise go to Olive Garden and order the all you can eat soup and salad!

Monday night must be trainee night. Horrible service. Practically ignored even after explicitely inquiring about my dessert after 15mins. Food was rather tasteless. Pathetic attempt to placate me with free chocolate and port wine after dessert. It's rare for my wife to give less than10% tip, and she is far more sympaqthetic than me.

Went there Sunday evening with 5 other friends and we were there about 2 hours waiting, waiting, and more waiting. 1 hour for food and 20 minutes for drink and beer refills. $20 for noodles, a few shimp (with tails on - why???), and a bunch of little chopped tomato. Needless to say, the food wasn't bad or we would have given it a hate-it rating.

Mediocre food, tacky decor, questionable service. Overall: not worth the price. I'm rarely impressed with "Mediterranean" cuisine. That said, the food was ok. Not terribly disappointing but unimpressive, especially considering the price. The ambience is kitschy. The chintzy pieces that clutter the room would be laughable if the restaurant didn't take itself so seriously in the form of its prices. I felt like the pieces were collected from years of trips to TJ Maxx. It was pretty offensive. The server proved competent but was haughty. Not that we necessarily wanted more bread, but he didn't fill the bread basket or offer to fill it. After the meal, after we settled the bill (credit card) and wrote down the tip, we just wanted to finish our wine and talk. The server actually came by to interrupt our conversation to collect the tip. Nor did the server greet us on the way out the door. So just like the decor and furnishings, the server's behavior was tacky. At least the restaurant was consistent, I guess.

Mediterrano hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
