Natural Headache Remedy: 5 Minute Meditation Music Designed to Alleviate Headaches & Migraines brought to you by the folks @

This natural remedy for alleviating headaches and migraines utilizes a gentle and soothing pulsing music to ease away tension.

Most headaches are created through tension and trapped areas of energy in the head built up of through worry, stress, and over-thinking.

This short five minute meditation has had a positive impact with my meditation students and hopefully you will find it useful as well.

Even though this is being presented on a video site the meditation is best practiced with eyes closed. A single image is displayed through the length of the video if closing your eyes is creating more tension or increasing your headache.

The image is a blend of violet and blue since those colors are associated with bringing relief from headaches and stress.

Of course there is no guarantee that this meditation will help ease your headache since a variety of conditions can cause headaches to occur. It has proven helpful though with a number of clients so it is worth bookmarking this video and trying it out whenever a headache does occur.

There are many other things you can do to proactively prevent headaches from happening in the first place. These include things such as changes in your diet, practicing Qigong which is helpful in getting blocked energy to circulate in trapped areas, and stress management techniques such as meditation.

This free meditation is courtesy of the folks @ This meditation utilizes a combination of frequency, binaural beats, soothing water sounds, and ambient music to create wonderful relaxation meditation.

This theta meditation is suitable for anyone to use when relaxation is desired, and is especially useful to anyone suffering from anxiety or high levels of stress.

Theta is one of the four brain states. During the Theta stage your mind shifts deeper into relaxation and brain activity slows almost to the point of sleep, but not quite. At this level you approach the subconscious, and it is often referred to as the deepest level of meditation.

Theta waves range from 4-7 Hz and this meditation is set at 7 Hz to induce a highly relaxed state of being without causing you to fall asleep. The Theta state is often the most fleeting of our mind states since it typically only occurs right before sleeping, and right after waking up. Practitioners who meditate on a consistent basis are able to enjoy much longer periods of the Theta state of mind.

To fully experience and benefit from binaural beats you should wear headphones when listening to this meditation. If you aren't able to wear headphones you will still get great benefit from the other components, but you will not enjoy the added benefits of binaural beats during your meditation practice.

The reason that binaural beats require headphones is because two tones at slightly different frequencies are played in each ear. Research has shown that binaural beats influence the brain in a subtle manner known as brainwave entrainment.
